After Thursday's efforts and with minds understandably turning to next Thursday, this game has euro-hangover written all over it.

    Tough one for Ronny.

Personally I'm with the people arguing for resting people, no way is this a "must win" game IMO.

hahaha if we drop points tomorrow, it will be a different story. I agree some men can get a rest and Commons, Gudetti, and Forrest could come in but we cannot weaken the side tomorrow if we can help it, as you say it has euro hangover written all over it. Hopefully Big John will be raring to go, id say he will

Our squad is stronger now so rotating the squad a little v Hamilton should not be a problem.

Gudetti needs to play to carry on the momentum. Commons, Stokes, Forrest or Henderson don't weaken the side but provide something different.

This, I'd like to see fisher start as he's more than comfortable slotting in on that right hand side and solid as *..

Also depending on how we're going, like to see Joe Thomson get a run..

Rest 3 from thursday and then if game is going well and we have a few goals make 3 more subs and rest some more for thursday.

But don't rest to many to start with.

I'd rest everybody, Gordon and Izaguirre included. We absolutely can't afford losing anybody to injury from the team that played Thursday, maybe we would have won with Commons. Second our squad doesn't have that many chances to rotate. We need to have everybody to be motivated and all players need to have a chance to show their worth. "Oh, but Ambrose/Zaliuska are pish". Yes, they are pish. If you see my post history will realize that half of them are mocking these two. But as long as they are Celtic players, they need to be motivated and supported. Do you expect Ronny to say "you are pish and will only play when I have absoutely no alternative" to these guys? Will do wonders for their confidence when/if that day arrives. Hamilton are crap at the moment, we should be more than capable of beating them with our reserves, and honestly, with a number of times the income and attendance of the sheep, if we are not good enough to beat them by more than 3 points then we don't deserve being scottish champions.

The only time a game is a must win is when we lose.

If we lose to Hamilton and to Aberdeen we will be 3 points behind with two games in hand and 10 matches to go.

If we lose to Inter we are out. If we lose to Dundee United we lose the cup. Our team has had * a lot of problems with injuries this season, plus a lot of players, specially those like wingers who need to be 100% fit in their duty are being quite inconsistent (Izaguirre is the best example).

I respect the opinions in disagreement (resting everybody as I said would be risky but if I were Deila I would still do it) as they make sense but if we don't rotate in this game we might as well sack everybody and have only 14 players in the squad as there is no reason for having 10+ players that will never step in.

Aye if ever there was a time to rest players it's now. Going for a Treble and with a good chance of progressing in Europe.

    Gordon
    Fisher Ambrose Van Dijk Wakaso
    Bitton Henderson
    Forrest Commons Stokes
    Guidetti

If Forrest and Commons arent fit use McGregor and Mackay-Steven.

I think if Gordon hadn't made those mistakes he would be rested but now I feel it's better to play him and get a calm and pressure-free 90 mins under his belt.

I thought they might have rotated the starting line-up last week at St Johnstone. I would be very surprised if we didn't for tomorrow. Hamilton will make it the 6th game played this month and with the 2nd leg in Milan on Thursday, it would be handy to give a few players a rest. Matthews would be top of the list, as we cannot afford to lose him before Thursday. I would also look at resting 2 from Brown,Bitton or Johansen. Forrest and Henderson are capable replacements. I would persist with Armstrong and MacKay-Steven, should be looking to maximise the exposure to our system. Stick Armstrong in a more central role behind the striker, like Johansen does.

A goalkeeper should never be rested!
