job well done, hamilton never looked like scoring and we pretty much kept them in they're own half in the 2nd half.

    Celtic 2 Hamilton 0.
Another one of quite a number of games this season where Celtic dominate yet belabour the final three point result.
Commons scores two the first was a terrific goal the second was a well taken goal gifted by blunder by a Hamilton player that Commons latched onto.
    Forster 6.5
    Wilson 7
    Majstorovic 6.5
    Mulgrew 6.5
    Izaguirre 6.5
    Brown 6

    Ki 6.5
    Commons 7 MOTM
    Stokes 5.5

Well done Lennon 3 more points to add to the pile, here's hoping we're still 8 points ahead when tomorrow is all said and done.

Does anyone have a clip of Commons goal?

Comfortable win but poor game, feel really sorry for Anthony Stokes stuck out on the wing in the 4-3-3.

Was it just me or did the general atmosphere seem a little subdued today?

Really pleased to have got the three points today, considering Hamilton
held us to a 1-1 draw the last time. Billy Reid would have been doing his darndest to help his hun pals again just like McCall was last week. We have to be up to this old pals acts by Ex Ranger's managers.Well done to Kris Commons grabbing that all important brace of goals.Taking a real shine to this guy. Commons is tailor made for the SPL.

In some ways that's a good sign though, in the past you just sort of got used to it being like that, whereas now when it's a bit quieter it's more noticeable.

Guess some people just find it hard to get excited about grinding past the bottom club, team were a bit subdued as well.

After last Sunday's shambles, I'm just glad of the win. :50:

    Efficient performance.

Was thinking some players might have been rested for this and in a way they did get a rest , and that was while they were playing the match..
It was very comfortable without being totally dominant and I felt players didn't need to break sweat too often..

Last 30 minutes was a non event , except to give guys from the bench some playing time.
Thought Izzy was his usual self , always being available for the ball , didn't use it as well as we've seen every week though..
Some of the ref and linesman decisions were poor.. Billy Reid standing at the side of the pitch remonstrating that he wanted a free-kick when the ball had clearly went out for a Celtic throw , with the officials then giving the throw Hamilton's way instead..
Scott Brown had a mixed bag.. Was fine with the 10 yard passes but guilty of some slack passing either out the park or leaving his team mates with a bit much to do , almost costing Kayal a booking in the first half with a short pass.
Big Danny tends to play the first time pass when he should hold it and see what's on.. He seemed to tweak his leg going for a ball around 30 minutes in.. Don't think it was contact from a Hamilton player though..
Mulgrew decent enough apart from a late bit of dithering from him that allowed them a shot which went over the bar, Wilson solid , Rogne winning all his headers , needs to be aware that he might get passes from teamates around our penalty box.. Seemed completely surprised about a square pass from Izzy which he ended up taking a fresh air swipe at..
Thought the best Hamilton player was McCaliister , the same guy that was red carded for his first tackle against us last time and I think holy pope mentioned that boy is a hun so I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up there in the summer.. Looks better than to be playing for Hamilton..

wasn't much to get excited about apart from the two great finishes and a couple of excellent passes.. One being from Stokes that played Commons in from about 60 yards away. Felt Commons should have dinked it far post first time instead of controlling it..
Sammy put in a decent enough shift but was isolated too much for my liking and Im sure he was shouting to team mates for a bit of help once Stokes went off..

Pretty fair assessment, it's fair to say Hamilton were really poor and looked like a side totally bereft of confidence.

I thought we played well in patches, but were guilty of trying to play the killer pass too early instead of moving it around and drawing them out of position, I thought the front 2 got pretty poor service from the midfield despite making some good runs.

Brown and Kayal were equally guilty of slack passing for me today, although to be fair, they both could have lit up cigars, Hamilton's midfield was so poor.

Thought Commons 1st was a bit of a toe-poke. Keeper should have done better. :50:
