Ajer is a better CB, are people forgetting how bad boyata can be? All you need to do is watch him against the Huns in the 3-2 game, gifted them a goal in the first 5 minutes. Also was * in the 2016 game and pretended to be injured there aswell. Rodgers has basically said that sort of behaviour is ok by selecting him today. Hope he gets a career ender today.

Totally agree with this, way to much chopping and changing of the team, its no coincidence that the invincible season saw very little changing of the starting 11 ,even last season in the games we threw away points it tended to be after making a lot of changes.

 

We've a big squad and play a lot of games, with numerous players carrying knocks or getting injured frequently. This is arguably our best lineup today, so no real room for complaints in my eyes.

I'm not happy with Boyata scenario either and want him gone ASAP, but Brendan is just putting club first and not himself.

But does playing him improve his value. Maybe we are only getting like 60% for example what Fulham offered because teams feel we are backs against the wall and won’t play him again.

Playing him shows other potential suitors pay up because if you’d don’t we aren’t stuck with a player unable to play for a year.
