[Matchday] Celtic v Greenock Morton (Saturday - 03/03/18 - 12:30 GMT)

Hoping that the game will be on. Got a rare shift swap on a Saturday so I could get to this so it'd be just typical if we couldn't play.

At the end of the day, I'd rather we had one less casualty on the road than the game playing. So if it can't go ahead, I'm cool with it.

 

Seen a picture on twitter of the pitch, looks ready for saturday, fingers crossed it stays like that.

Not a chance this is going ahead

Temperatures and continued snowfall tomorrow (Friday) mean surrounding areas, roads etc will get no respite from this weather. Amber and Yellow warnings are in place until Sunday evening. Pitch will be immaculate but that’s irrelevant to the reason it will be called off.

Wouldn’t surprise me to see an announcement even 24 hours before kick off.

 

im going for all games in Scotland off this weekend ..don't know about England.

My boys game has been cancelled for Saturday. I can now make this game, hope its on.

 

They'd have to surely. Especially with the early kick-off. I'd like to know if I need to get up early or not.

 

Not a chance this will be on, not too fussed if its not anyway tbh. Gives our players another bit of rest before we head to the shitpit next week.

 

Very surprised if this makes it as the streets are still some state despite the lack of more snow. Forecast for more overnight I think, though.

probably play either Dundee game or Morton during the week Tues/Wed.

 

If this does get called off for Saturday I can easily see our game with Dundee getting played on Tuesday instead.
