I support my team through thick and thin mate, as you well know :50:

It's not really, unless you think it somehow relates to the colour orange, or some other idiotic connotation.

When I think of the Dutch I immediately think of the House of Orange-Nassau. Although as you can tell by my username, I am also a big royalist.

See with that result last night we will have made approximately €43m (£37m+) from the CL this year so up a few million on last year.

We have done a tour of Japan in preseason probably earning more than the Oz tour last year.

Although transfers in will be a net negative of about £10m at this point for the season there is really no excuse for not spending a bit of cash next month in the window to try secure the big money from next seasons CL.

If our business gurus running the show have anything about them they will surely understand that getting £50-60m from CL for a cost of £10-15m now is worth the gamble.

Aye pure dead rubber for both. Got mixed up on my point totals.

    * it. I’ll take it, still changes nothing for me. It was a win and a well deserved win at that.

That's a really big "if" considering the way they've fecked it up over the years. Hopefully the penny will finally drop and they will actually speculate to accumulate

I still advise boycotts and protests to send a message to the board. My idea of a banner:

" The players found their balls, when will the board find theirs?"

Weird to think that's the last European game we'll ever play in a 4-team group

Didn't watch the game as I was travelling home to Ireland from thailand, not sure I would of bothered anyway to be honest.

Good win that put a bit of a shine on another wise abysmal Champions league campaign. Going by the reaction on here by some we are world beaters again and there's nothing to worry about.. hmmm dead rubber folks..

Anyway what stands out after the win is how this campaign could of been so different. An absolute golden opportunity missed.

Bit of discipline in Holland and the 2 goal swing against Lazio and could it could of been so much different.

4 points against both Lazio and Feyenoord could of been achievable and the point agais AM could of easily left us with 9 points..

If a bit of ambition in the summer was shown we'd could of easily paid it back and some.. * you Lawwell

Utter bullshit and by the above logic i guess you'll be cheering on the orcs to win the * league will you.

The record you wanted would go against the Club/team, you spouted it so live with it.

I have already made my feelings clear what will happen if the board don't invest in January!

Good performance overall last night I felt particularly in the first half. The lack of depth to come in told a bit later in the second half and that got them on top but credit the team after they made it 1-1 McGregor hit the crossbar with what would have been a stunner and what a * to the back post by O'Riley to set up the winner for Lagerbielke. Few points for me were how well the back line played. Especially credit to Welsh having not played at all for so long to come in from the cold and start and play like that well done to him. Hopefully his coming off was not a muscle injury just him been nackered having not played in so long. Credit to big Lagerbielke for in his own way being out in the cold and coming on late on and bagging the winner. Hopefully a big boost for him to push on now as a Celtic player. Big confidence boost overall you sense for the team as a whole.

I'd seen the match stats at work. While we had more possession than Lazio but failed to beat them in either game, here we had less than Feyenoord, yet took the win. The much lauded Copenhagen also work well with low possession numbers. If only Rodgers would copy them.

See being honest across the piece if it was based on performances about 5 points would have been right for us. We probably deserved to beat Lazio at home but last night a draw would have been a fair result. It’s actually a pity losing that late goal against Lazio as if it was even a draw that’s us unbeaten in CL at home this season. It doesn’t change where we finish in the group or anything but gives you something to build on.
