Probably on of our poorer performances of the campaign but finally got the luck we needed. Scales was head and shoulders above everyone on that pitch tonight, what a sensation he’s been this season.

I was under the impression that Scales was an absolute dud who had no right to even be considered a Celtic level player. Just shows you eh?

That result might have secured 10th place in the coefficient rankings, meaning winning the league next year gets us champions league football in 2025/26, was never a dead rubber

Yep, I made the same point yesterday in this thread. There's a list of reasons why this was an important game to win, it was not a dead rubber.

The good result aside, it showed how differently we are treated in Europe. We gets reds, the other clubs get a warning.

I think Feyenoord are a decent team. They moved the ball around really well at times and were easy on the eyes.

Their manager is decent. Really decent.

Really REALLY needed that. The club, the players, the fans, all of them. But especially Rodgers. A loss would've seen a real media pile on.

For the love of * please make this the game we turn this season around.

Didn't see it, but my oul one told me Cal was back to his best.

No Philips and Lagerbielke does well.... Who'd have thunk it.

Not gonna count chickens though, nor engage with the very strange "girfuy" attitude some of our fans appear to displaying in here toward others who are genuinely concerned. There's soooo much * work to be done.

But my major issue tonight is the Feynoord Ultras sneaking into the home end.
The GB should * drag them for this. Didn't they accuse the GB of sneaking into games through fire doors (something that happens at * movie theatres for FFS) as another justification for the ban? But the clubs own security procedures can't stop a gang of ultras waltzing into our home section, putting it's own fans at risk of violence? * drag them for that.

Hardly the hallmark of a revolutionary tactical system or playing style, if it requires a blank chequebook and the best players in the world in order to be effective against stronger opposition?

“Angeball” was essentially just Kevin Keegan style, we’ll try to out score you and not bother our hole defending properly or being organised without the ball.

Which is made even more laughable, when you consider our attacking stats were every bit as bad as our defensive stats under the fat Aussie… Someone like Keegan, to his credit, would have at least had us scoring a few goals in those games even if we were conceding soft ones at other end.

The chap was more concerned with maintaining “brand Ange” so he could promote his “footballing philosophy” and * his fat * into a juicy epl job, rather than being concerned with our club getting results in Europe.

Unacceptable for some people who want nothing to do with the Champions League. In fact there will be people absolutely raging that we have a better chance of CL qualification due to this result and will demand heads because if it.

Wondered why you'd been so absent for the 5 trophies the "fat Aussie" won. Obvious philosophical differences.

Can't believe the "fat Aussie" did so little for us. The football may have been entertaining and we might have won a lot, but he's definitely no Kevin Keegan.
