    Missed the first 20 , but looks like we lost midfield since bernardo change according to comentator saying we didn't deserve to go behind .
    Wot I've seen is a team in the position they deserve to be on the table , we lack real strength and conviction mid to front , gaps at the back are expected with Welsh being thrown in , would replace mj for forest on the 25 I seen .

    I'm no football expert, but I've been trying to put my finger on why we look so utterly clueless in defence no matter who we face. Couple of things I noticed - would maybe be easier to spot at the games as opposed to on TV.

    • In defence the players seem overly concerned about dropping into a fixed position in relation to their teammates or an area of the pitch, as opposed to where the opposition are. Like zonal marking in-game.
    • We are constantly reactive in pressing. A player gets the ball, we press and the second they pass it on, we drop right off them, which means a simple pass back to them means they have all the space again. We then have to re-press and this tires us and gives them time to pick a pass. This relates to my first point.
    • Tracking runners.... * me sideways. Our entire team are like kittens watching a laser pointer on the wall. Once a player has passed the ball they suddenly become invisible as we fixate on the ball. A simple give and go leaves us exposed constantly.
    • Lastly, decision making on the ball in the final third loses us possession and we are exposed far too easily due to the lack of pace and physicality. If we can't make up the lost ground we need to be more savvy in our attacking formation.
