I was in collecting my ticket today for the match and i asked the girl behind the counter what tickets had been sold and she says that there was 55,000 already sold. Im wondering has anybody else herd other numbers being banded about?

 

i highly doubt 55,000 have been sold - nearly every section is available online

 

Yeah thats what i thought, it will be the usual to try and generate more enthusiasm within the fans to buy the tickets

 

yeah i reckon its to push fans into buying there tickets quickly. Would be great if we could have 55,000 on Thursday, but we neevr even got that for Braga, a game which was free for ST's and in a better comp.

 

Yeah true i think it was near 53,000 that night. I expect around 40-45,000 Thursday i think the atmosphere will be good tho, the bhoys in the opposite corners(green brigade,and comrades i think there called)certainly have made things a little more nosier.

 

I really think its a joke that the size of fanbase we have we cant fill the stadium, Its a qualifier i know that but if we get far in it e.g quarters, then it will be packed. Alot of supporters just watch the team when its doing well rather than faithful through and through as the song goes

 

Is it not just a wee bit too much for some though, people just coming back from holidays and ST payments due as well, a lot of people have to pick and choose games, btw I'll be there.

 

I see the point it is for financial reasons, but few folk ive spoke to have said they not going because its no worth it, europa league is rubbish etc. Which annoys me

I think we could win this comfortably as long as we keep the back door shut.

I know Loovens and Mulgrew were pretty impresssive against Inverness but I still think they are the weak links in our back-line. Majstorovic should definitely start instead of Loovens. I've not seen much of Izaguirre but if he's goood enough, I'd hope he will replace Mulgerew straight away.

 

Will the game be on bbc sportsound or any other radio broadcasts?

the was ment for the number of supporters coming. Not for the the potential danger, that is history anyway. Sure we won't bring the sweetest boys in the world, but you are acting like we are the worst you'll ever see.
