Just home from the game... couldny find my supporters bus so went n got pished in the east end. We honestly need to sort ourselves out or we are gonna get our * handed to us. Especially in that * pink kit.

 

As soon as roberts went off we were shown up. Not an ounce of creativity in anyone.

Well that was terrifying.

Better pray for Paddy, a decent draw, couple signings, and some sort of offense to start clicking.

 

Aye cause we were showing so much when he was on.

Don't understand the negativity on here at all.

 

Got through that was the main thing. A bit worried about not scoring in open play and having to rely on penalties, but you need to be attacking and in and around their box to get those decisions. If you're playing * you don't get those calls, you're too busy fannying about the middle of the park, so you make your own luck. I thought we done that and we deserved the win in the end.

 

Delighted with the result. The performance wasn't our best, it wasn't our worst either though to be fair. We probably should have wrapped the game up at the start of the second half when they looked all over the place for a spell. At this stage of the season though, it's all about the result really. One thing I would say, when it went 1-1, that is the type of game we would have went on to lose last season in my opinion. That was a massive plus for me. We composed ourselves pretty well I felt after losing a very poor goal.

 

Were they both penalties folks? From where I was sitting the Dembele one looked soft. Not that I'm complaining.

 

I'd genuinely say no chance, skinned two players and that big dope Shitov thought he'd get away with one again.

 

He should've been sent off before as well to be fair, the ref tried to avoid sending people off which is fair and he had a good game but the Astana boys thought they could just go through us without getting booked and the ref had enough eventually.

 

Did Dembeles run present an immediate goal scoring opportunity from the distance and run? Who knows? Was still a lazy attempt of an interception.

 

In this situation I'm delighted he stayed on :icon_mrgreen::smiley-laughing002:

Defender goes for ball completely misses and clips dembeles foot

Clear foul penalty all day long

 

some of the press regarding this result is laughable, celtic struggle to beat 9 man anstana, really is unreal.

 

They got two guys sent off? *?

 

Exactly, they played maybe 30 seconds with 9 men.
