This is one of those games where it's almost impossible to call the lineup. I don't think Ki or Jos will start but Ki probably has the best chance of featuring.

    I suspect:

    Boruc

    Hinkel Loovens Mick(C) Fox

    McGinn Crosas Zhi McGeady

    Fortune Samaras

I like what I've seen from Zhi - I thought he was excellent in his debut at Ibrox and seems to have a good head for making the correct decisions. Also quite a decent physical side to his game so I think he can play an N'Guemo role fairly well - just with less hustle and more thinking / better passing.

The only thing counting against that lineup is TM has been known to spring surprises with his lineups. So you never know we might be seeing Jos or Ki sooner rather than later.

That's the team I'd go with, Jos only started pre-season training last week so will not be match fit, then again you never know a not fit Jos might still be better than Mick :54:

Well Tm has sprung surprises before so you never know.. the only thing against that though is this is big Jos's pre-season and also McManus and Loovens are .. erm.. "proven".

As people are saying the thought of loovens and mick playing together is too scary , id throw jos straight in.

    bourc

    hinkel---loovens---jos--- fox

mcgeady--- Crosas--- zz (ki on later) --- mcginn

    sammy--- fortune

think we will destroy them 4-0 with fortune getting on the score sheet

That term lightweight really does my nut in, Crosas and Nguemo were too 'lightweight' against the huns, yet they ran the show. Technically gifted over Strength and throwing themselves into late challenges anyday.

    I'd go with: Boruc

    Hinkel Loovens Hooiveld Fox

    McGinn Crosas Ki McGeady

    Samaras Fortune

I realise Hooiveld may not be fit, so I expect McManus to play, although I'd rather he didn't. We have better options in the crowd tbh.

    Score: 2-0 (Samaras with both).

    I'd go for:
    Brouc
    Hinkel Loovens Hooiveld Fox
    McGinn Crosas Zhi McGeady
    Fortuné Samaras

with Ki to come on for Zhi at some point. Would of started with him but I feel Zhi deserves a start and I wouldn't drop Crosas. I realise Hooiveld isn't fully match fit but he can't be worse than McManus.

how attacking is that lineup lol, crosas will have to sit very deep, we need another CDM, cant rely on nguemo and we might not even sign him, ki can play there but he is lightweight at the moment
