I was hoping for a 2-0 win tonight so I'm slightly disappointed with the result. At least we didn't concede an away goal though. Still some work to do in the second leg.

1-0 is decent to take over there if we get a goal they will need 3 and I cant see that happening if we defend our hearts out.

That would make more sense aye, I didn't even think that it could've meant that, was literally staring at it thinking 'how does that really make sense, my head must be * pickled.'

Thought Bangura showed glimpses of decent technique/skill, but that was very poor form what he did with Wilson. Still don't think he'd be good enough anyway and hopefully we can just recoup what we spent on him. Think people suggested we may be close to that anyway through loan fee's?

Was a frustrating game at times, we only lumped balls into the box, there was no real incisive passes into an attacker so we were actually in behind their defence. Really need a playmaker.

Sammy and Commons were excellent. No support from midfield and Stokes sadly is not the answer. Think we'll get through but better planning and we'd have skooshed this.

One thing that did annoy me tonight was Commons taking short corners to Izaguirre. my eye sight is quite pish bt Elfsborg looked like a small team in height compared to us so a few better deliveries could have had us on easy street.

3 games in and we are getting * off with players. They've just had a great result against a team 17 games into their season. Ffs.

We missed Hooper big time and if we are going to continue with Stokes he had better improve on that.

Not that unduly worried, thought we looked comfortable and played some decent stuff at times, no away goal conceded is always a big thing!

Have to agree regarding Forrest, cant help thinking he has the ability to be doing way, way more than he is producing!

Spot on! And now that we have the lead, they will open up over there and it will suit us. Very confident we can get the job done. :shamrock:

This definitely. :50: Stokes could get near the ball unless he was dropping deep and that left no-one in the box. High hopes for Amido, hope Lenny and the support will give him a chance.

Decent enough win despite a poor first half performance. It will be enough to go through.

It looked like big Wilson caught him a peach but I would need to see it again. It will be a hot topic anyhow now. Someone is to blame for not having his admission against us in a clause whilst thrashing out the contract though. This is also why I am against the booing of him. It's not up to him to not play, It's up to either his current manager or us before the contract was done.

If he's dived then fine we should let him go, if he has been caught, then I think he is just really a victim of circumstance.

I was sitting right in line with it, it looked a mile on.

Ref and his linesmen were shocking tonight, they kicked * out of us and the linesmen constantly got throw in decisions wrong either way.
