If we can get Luis Suarez by the deadline then we should be fine:bbpd:

At 26 and demanding a massive transfer fee and wages, we are unlikely to recoup any of the money we spend on him so wouldn't fit our signing policy :54:

Why when every other team has scored against us - apart from Cliftonville - are we all of a sudden not going to concede at least 1 goal? Everyone is talking about our ability to score goals, but of equal, if not more concern, is our defensive midfield and back 4. In games like this, now that he has gone, will we really appreciate how valuable Big Vic was as an extra defender and set piece goalscorer. Sadly Kayal is no substitute in either dept. They will score at least 1, so we need 2 goal gap to take over there.

We could off him Champions League football though. Reckon he would bite our hands off if we made an offer.

Wouldn't come and play for us would just bite our hands off.

As it currently stands, I'd go with:

    ---------------------------------Forster----------------------------------

    -----Lustig--------------Ambrose------------Wilson-----------Izaguirre-----

    ------------------------Brown---------------Ledley-------------------------

    -----Forrest---------------------Commons-------------------Samaras--------

    ---------------------------------Stokes--------------------------------------

    7 Subs:
    Zaluska
    Matthews
    Mulgrew
    McGeough
    Kayal
    Balde
    Watt

Both a win and clean sheet is essential on Wednesday. 3-0 would kill the tie off, while I'd take 2-0 but we would still need to be wary. A single goal victory or failing to win would seriously concern me. Looking forward to it, hopefully at least three quarters of Celtic Park full.

Glad I'm not the only one that would like to see Stokes start. I didn't see the game last week but I know he got some stick and admitted himself he should have done better with his finishing. For me though I don't think we have enough firepower to leave him out.

I think we will win 2 or 3 nil as well.

I doubt the players or management have either, and all three of those teams were superior when compared to Elfsborg now.

They were also a bit superior than us at the time.... Accept sion! They all had some players in position that where better than ours "at that time"

I don't know how we will
Play after losing hooper and wanyama but I seriously think 3-0 to us and the tie is over

We should know not to take any risks with team-selection. Ledley will be an option but think it will be the same line-up as the last round.

I doubt that, elfsborg are really tricky and can beat most teams on home turf. Its crucial we win the first leg and dont give them any away goals.

We'll agree to disagree then but time will prove me correct.
