Mo Bangura and James Keene start upfront for Elfsborg today.

They are playing against 7th place Atvidaberg, currently losing 1-0, 10 minutes gone.

Lennon said he'd be there to watch.

Absolutely woeful play from Mohamed Bangura there, hasn't changed one bit.

In terms of fanbase; AIK and IFK Göteborg. The former has the biggest local fanbase judging by their average attendances.

Historically speaking, it's arguably IFK Göteborg with Malmö FF as a close second, AIK third. Big teams historically that are not quite as good today include IFK Norrköping, Örgryte and Djurgården

The top teams on the pitch during later years have been IFK Göteborg, AIK, Malmö, Helsingborg and Elfsborg. It's a very even league where teams seldomly win consecutive titles (last time was a decade ago), but these teams usually ends up somewhere in the top.

Last year Häcken surprisingly played the best football, scoring for fun, but finished as runner-ups to Elfsborg. This year they're sitting in a humble 10th position after losing their star striker, but they did beat Sparta Prague in the latest EL round.

First of all, they had a sell out because it was the first league game at the new stadium. Normally very few games, except derbies and special hyped games can reach a crowd over 20 000. Second/ All teams in Sweden are small in a global perspective. There are a few teams, like was mentioned. Malmö and IFK Göteborg are the most successful teams. The most popular team is IFK, and is also the most supported, even though the team has struggled to get crowd to the games. AIK and Malmö have best attendances. All together I would say that, AIK, Malmö, IFK are the "big teams", then there are Hammarby, Djurgården that are considered big duo to their amount of fans at the game. And also Helsingborg, Elfsborg duo to their playing ability since 2000.

Penalty to Elfsborg as Bangure tripped in the penalty box. Bangura doesn't score his penalty :D

Swedish football actually looks the business.

A very competitive league, albeit not with great quality. Strength and depth to it.

Great scenes in the stand - pyro galore used, great displays, atmospheres.

Chaos outside the stands from certain fans. The thriving hooligan scene surprised me when I was looking into it last season. The stereotype of Swedish fans comes from the national team -all colourful in blue and yellow, face painting, burds aplenty etc. Seems that couldn't be further from the truth. The story the other week about Hammarby fans and the bomb to stop Djurgardens playing was crazy. Then you've got the ice hockey when the football's not on!!!

And to think of the outrage from some Celtic fans over three loud bangs at a game, some seats being broken and fans moving from side to side!

Sad but true mate. But Elfsborg have very friendly fans with a few to none hooligans, so there wont be any problems going there in the CL game. If we drew AIK there would probably be rioting.

Rhodén injured in this game, joining Hauger, Jörgensen on the injury list. Elfsborg have problems now.

Is Wednesday's game on TV in Sweden ? The way the streams are looking at the minute you might end up doing a running commentary for everyone on here that isn't going on Wed.
