Flying up from London with my eldest for his first league game.

We're all excited in the Hammy89 household for this yin.

Give Scales, Johnston, Kyogo and Maeda a rest and I'd be fully resting McGregor for the cup final. Bring Bernardo, Kyogo, Yang and Forrest off the bench, 3-0.

    That's a * of a rest you're giving him.

    Schmeichel
    Johnston CCV Scales Valle
    McGregor
    Kühn Engels Hatate Maeda
    Kyogo

Wouldn't be opposed to giving Palma a start..

I would rotate again a bit for this on Wednesday with two big games coming up next Saturday and Tuesday.

    I would go

    Schmeichel
    Ralston
    CCV
    Trusty
    Taylor
    McCowan
    Bernardo
    Engels
    Kuhn
    Yang/Palma
    Kyogo

Valle and Johnston were excellent today and who I would start in the semi final but both could do with a rest, Scales too.

No point risking McGregor and giving Maeda and Hatate a rest. I would maybe give Maeda a run out later on through the middle if Idah doesn’t make it for the bench.

Another few changes with the big games coming up and short time between them all, I’d go for.

    Schmeichel
    Ralston CCV Trusty/Scales Valle
    McGregor
    Engels McCowan
    Kuhn Kyogo Palma

For the CB question, I feel CCV needs to start to prepare him for Aberdeen and Leipzig. I have no idea who I want next to him, which I suppose is a good thing. Probably edge it towards Trusty.

Ideal game to bring CCV and Taylor back into tthe side and rest AJ, Scales, Reo and Maeda.

    Schmeichel
    Ralston CCV Trusty Taylor
    McGregor
    Engels Bernardo
    Kuhn Kyogo Palma
Would mean only Schmeichel and Trusty haven't had at least a one game break from this run of games.

I’d go Trusty alongside CCV, because I felt Scales looked tired yesterday.

I don’t know about McGregor. Do you give him another rest or does that risk a wee bit of sharpness for the big games?

Would be tempted to rest McGregor regardless. Gives McCowan another game too which is no bad thing given he contributed well yesterday.

This should be comfy. Expecting 4 or 5. Dundee have really struggled since we signed McCowan from them.
