Well he obviously agrees with me, do you honestly think the two of them would have played if Armstrong and GMS were available ?

They'll be back on there wee bench telling tales of assists next Saturday, don't you worry.

Stokes will be the one throwing his hands in the air blaming someone else :bbpd:

Would be fairly harsh to drop Stokes considering he was our best player going forward.

My issue with Stokes today was his final ball, the amount of times he got to the bi-line or beat the defender but then cut in to shoot. Griffiths should of been on the left to be honest and stokes & commons off, he popped up there a few times Griffiths and put some cracking balls in.

Delighted for Ronny winning his first of hopefully many trophies as Celtic manager.

Thought we were pretty comfortable for most of the match, it could have been maybe 4 or 5 on another day.

Stokes and Izzy do link up well, but when it comes to getting the ball into the box and finding a player is when it becomes a problem :56: Stokes was very frustrating to watch. We also lack that attacking threat with Matthews out the team, and Ambrose gave us a few jitters today but overall everyone was fine, and well done to Forrest for coming on and making an impact for a change, not something he's been doing for a while. IF he can stay clear of injuries then we know he can be a very good player, but that's a big IF.

Anyway, great atmosphere and delighted for the team- 1 down, 2 to go.

    :50:

Our pressing game can't operate when Stokes and Commons start.

I used to think United were alright as well but * them. * Union flag in their end as well - completely at odds with the political make-up of the city.

Starting to hate United, they used to be a team full of good guys like Russell, Wilson, GMS, Armstrong etc.

Now they're full of hun * like Paton and just general * like Ciftci, Dixon, Butcher, Connolly and McGowan (who was a * at Hearts aswell which folk have forgotten about)

His * remind me of this wee gem!!

LARSSON NEARLY BROKE MY LEG AND SHOWED NO REMORSE FOR IT

CROCKED Kilmarnock defender Gus MacPherson last night rounded on hatchet man Henrik Larsson.

The full-back left the field on a stretcher after a late x-rated challenge from the Swede during Celtic's crucial 1-0 win at Parkhead on Wednesday night.

MacPherson will now be out of football for nearly a month after having 12 stitches inserted in a gaping gash in his leg.

He also suffered a slight compound fracture of the tibia and a hole was punctured in the muscle after Larsson's scything challenge tore through the player's shinguard.

And he believes Larsson failed the acid test of whether a footballer means a bad challenge or not - by failing to show any remorse.

Yesterday, recovering at home, MacPherson said: "I was disappointed with the challenge.

"It means I'll be out for three weeks at a time when important games, like the one against Rangers, are coming up.

"I knew right away that the challenge was a bad one.

"When I was lying on the deck he showed no concern and as a player you know that when an opponent doesn't show any concern about what's happened that it wasn't accidental.

"I've heard that some people suggested he was retaliating for some heavy treatment he'd received earlier - but nothing justifies a challenge like that.

"The physio told me I was lucky and that had the tackle been straight on, my leg would have been broken."

The 30-year-old defender, Kilmarnock's second longest-serving star behind veteran captain Ray Montgomerie, has been one of several Killie players to hardly miss a game all season.

But he now faces a long and lonely fight back to fitness with a return to the first team by no means guaranteed at the end of it.

Such is the seriousness of the injury that MacPherson will now be forced to start his rehabilitation in the gym.

While the incident has left a sour taste for everyone connected with Kilmarnock Football Club, MacPherson insisted his respect for Larsson as a player is undiminished.

And he claimed he may still vote for the 27-goal Swede when it comes round to selecting the Players' Player of the Year.

A few United fans also had an Israel flag :56: none of their players are Israeli and pretty sure not many of their supporters are Jewish...terrorist sympathisers!
