I was looking at the match stats for last nights game and something that stood out to me was that we had over 75% possession, almost 84% in the first half, and yet somehow we made THREE TIMES as many fouls as DU?! Yeah nothing dodgy going on there...

Bit surprised at the reaction to Dundee United setting up defensively.

We were more than happy to absorb the pressure against Atalanta and were pleased with the overall performance. What DU did isn’t that different.

Utd tend to set up really tight first half then come out second half if it's a close score. They did well second half and scared us a few times

easy, united sat in waiting for us to make an error….which we did a few times. And then whoever made that error then fouled trying to win it back straight away which the Dundee United player gladly took the foul to relieve some pressure

Think it was the manner of it though, theres sitting back and then theres having your whole team surrounding your box with zero attempt to do anything.

They also barely defended anything, hardly took a single ball off us or nothing. Were like statues just waiting to block or header crosses away the for about 55 minutes.

Was like if we were playing a Junior team who had no fitness levels and thought they can't risk coming away from their own box.

The stats at HT must have been the most one sided in a Scottish League game ever, 33 touches in their box, 25 crosses put into their box, 83.5% possession, 232 passes into their final third from us. At HT they had completed 60 passes and our front 3 of Yang, Idah and Maeda had completed 70.

Got a good laugh watching the post match with McGregor handing Engels the Man of the Match champagne and then saying his dad must be picking them with all the ones he has won recently.

One thing * me off. In the second half, when DU started playing and attacked us, we eventually win the ball back in our own half but dont move it fast enough. Then, before ya know it, they are back in position with 11 behind the ball.
