I thought we were sloppy at times and dundee united should have been ahead at the start of the game.Also thought mulgrew was poor and in the first half izzy was terrible. I know I sound negative but the result is glossing over some poor displays

Funny how people see different things sometimes but that one is just madness.

 

I thought for 40 minutes (last 20 of the first half and first 20 of the second) was some of the best football I've seen us play in a good while, DU couldn't get near us and when they did finally get the ball we were swarming all over them like flies on coke to win it back.

What a bonus it will be if Commons and Stokes can truly adapt to Ronny's system. Stokes might actually benefit from it because although he was up front on his own it never seemed like that because so many were getting beyond him, his flicks and lay offs were an absolute joy to watch yesterday.

 

It's a pity for Forrest, he was skinning their left back any time he wanted and after the game he had the other night it looked like he was getting back to his best. Overall it was an excellent team performance with plenty of movement in the middle of the park with Izzy (who was my man of the match) running amok down the left. It was Johansens best game of the season so far as well which was good to see as he looked like he could be something special last season. I hope we can carry it on to Maribor and give us the chance to get through at CP next week.

Mulgrew made one mistake, izzy a couple in the first but was excellent overall..

Glossing over poor displays my * *..

Petty nit picking, we should have scored before they had that 1 chance when we hit the post..

I'm sure we had double figures attempts plus 3 goals to there 1 strike in the first half that went wide..

I'm really sorry for having an opinion for * sake, mulgrew was pish and izzy had a terrible first half IN MY OPINION. obviously I should just kiss all your arses and pretend it was the greatest display ever haha. I honestly think we've been better and I was delighted with the result but I'm not as pleased as others it seems
