Cracking game! Really good fluidity up front. Defensively still a bit shaky but we did have a debutant playing CB and Ambrose at RB.

Away to Maribor though we will need to remove one of the front 4 for a central midfielder, can't make the same mistake like we did with Legia.

That is my concern. Johansen is more than capable of joining attacks from deep, so we wouldn't be completely sacrificing our attacking threat from that area.

But yeah, we really need to include either Biton or Kayal.

He was taken off at half time just to give him a break as the game was in the bag. Kayal played well in the second half as well so that was encuraging.

Sometimes folk get away from why we go and watch football...we want to be entertained now and again and today was one of those days where we certainly got our money's worth.

I trudged up from Brigdeton station this morning in the rain thinking is this going to be worth it and it certainly was, an unexpectedly good performance, could have been a goal either end before the first goal, a few more games like this should be filling up those empty seats in no time.

The new boy from Man City looked so comfortable out there and hopefully his influence can have a positive effect on the rest of the defence albeit I think we need to strengthen it if we are going to do any damage in Europe.

On today's evidence domestically it should be a stroll and a joy to watch :50:

Watched the game there after recording it. Great performance and some fantastic football, that was the style I am expecting from Deila, some of the pressing and one touch football was really encouraging.

Denayer looks like he could be a hit for us. A few shaky moments defensively now and again but he seems to have all the attributes needed to be a great defender. A real modern centre half, ability to go forward effectively but has the pace and awareness for centre half.

Berget once again looked impressive and he still can't even be fully fit. Quite a silky player, actually reminds me of Samaras in the way he goes about the park. The viking look just adds to his performance:56:

Not many negatives from that, still look a bit iffy at the back now and again but we had a completely changed right hand side of the defence so that is a bit more understandable today. Fantastic result going into the big one on Wednesday, gives not only us fans a bit more confidence but also the team as a whole.

Gosh! What a coincidence him saying that when it's one of our marketing strategies this year! What were the chances? :87::smiley-laughing002:

Thought we we're really stale, boring and pedestrian at times.

Quick and attacking just what Ronny wanted. Some reception at half time not seen that in a long time, really enjoyed today.

Very inspiring this. Straight from the kick off you could see that we were absolutely flying all over the pitch. Great stuff from Denayer.

Its funny when the Celtic hater comes up with the possible and probably stupid opinion about why Forrest is injured so often that any Celtic supporter could think that he would come out with any idea to help us
