Really good performance today well pleased with the tempo and the result. Thought Kayal looked great and I love the man- I hope he forces his way into the team. Denayer and van dijk were solid enough, still not sure about mulgrew in midfield but the front 4 of berget McGregor commons and stokes were excellent. Good movement and good creativity. Gota say though Dundee utd were awful especially set pieces. I doubt Maribor will give us such space in the box.

Aye was 4-2-3-1, was very good performance too. Ambrose was at right back because Matthews was injured in the warm up though there was no word on how serious the injury was. Lustig was rested so ambrose started.

Yes he plays there for Nigeria.

Watching the game on telly, it seemed a bit quiet at Paradise today. What was it like at the game?

Îts the green brigade's fault :fear:
But on a serious note, yeah it seemed eerily quiet.

Enjoyed the game today(especially with a Denayer 1st scorer bet coming up). Good pressing and a few slips aside the passing was great. Denayer and Van Djik strolled it Stokes and Commons were lively and Berget looks like he could come in handy. There's still stuff to work on but if we get that type of performance every week it should be an enjoyable as well as successful season.

Thoroughly enjoyed the game today. Won a lot more comfortably than I or anyone else really expected. Thought the defence was a week bit shaky in the first couple of minutes but they soon tightened up and snuffed out any of United's threats.

We played at a much faster tempo and it was great to see goals flying in from set pieces. Hard to believe this was a team who only two weeks ago looked devoid of ideas or even looked capable of scoring more than a single goal. Despite scoring six though I feel it could easily have been more if we'd had an out and out striker out there.

I was impressed with the debut from Jason Deneyer and soon forgave him the early bomb scare moments. A very good signing on this showing and certainly looking forward to seeing more of him.

Mulgrew and Commons were different players today and both showed signs of what they are capable of and should be doing week in week out.

It's still a worry us playing so high and leaving ourselves open to counter attacks but the signs are there the players are adapting to the way Delia wants us to play.

I'm certainly a lot more confident going into the Maribor game now than I was before today. We're not perfect, not by a long chalk but keep improving like we have done in the last two matches and we could be looking at a very successful season.

Roll on Wednesday and let's see what we can do.

Brilliant result today. Great performance all round.

Let's hope Maribor's assistant manager loses his notes!
