Results against United in our last 5 games against them (not in order): 1-1, 2-1, 3-1, 4-1, 5-1.

Hopefully that's an omen that we'll beat them-6-1, 7-1 and 8-1 in the other games against them this season. :50:

Great win I was not expecting such a comfortable day if i am honest.

Dissapointed to concede and feel sorry for hooper. all in all a good day and performance.

not sure wherever I want to rest the likes of ledley commons etc against sion or to play a full strength team and try to finish it first leg

Just back. Really pleased with that performance, I thought the quality of some of our football was superb. Defence still looked a little but suspect, particularly when dealing with crosses, but were good generally I felt. Maj was superb. 2 top class saves from Zaluska will do him the world of good. Stokes and Hooper looked sharp, feel sorry for Hooper, hopefully the injury's not too serious, though we do have options to cover. Maloney and Forrest both looked really lively when they came on, injected some good pace and directness into the play. I'd say the only real disappointment from the game was losing our clean sheet run.

Got to say was nice to see us scoring from corners again, seems like it was the first in ages.

Playing anything other than our strongest available team in Europe would be madness.

Does any one else agree if I said Charlie Mulgrew should have been named man of the match. Because I thought he was fantastic
    Never put a foot wrong
Remember in the second half he ran down the line cut back on his right and with the outside of his left boot he curled a lovely ball in
Only if we had a target man instead of hooper in that instance it would have been a great goal.
    Well done Charlie Mulgrew

His delivery is outstanding and I thought he was excellent overall.

Maybe the fact he looked shockingly poor at the start of last season was confidence rather than the position he was playing.

I'm loving the improvement of players under Lennon, the likes of Ki, Mulgrew, Mark Wilson, Scott Brown.

I hope he can work his magic on Sammy now!:50:

Good perfomance yesterday, sent a message out by hammering a good side in Dundee United. Special mention for Zaluska who made a couple of good saves in the second half and a fine slide tackle.

Would agree with the posts in regards to Charlie Mulgrew being MOTM.
