Just in the house, soaking wet, still frozen and relieved to *. We really made hard work of that and, once again, lost goals to straightforward crosses into our box. As everyone knows, I am always going on about just how much we need a big tall ball winning CH as if we don't get one, we are going to continue shipping goals like the one's we did today which could have cost us dearly. Another thing, I'm in the Lisbon Lions stand and might be wrong here however, shouldn't our keeper not come out and claim that ball for their first goal?. Anyway, we are top of the league which is the main thing but, for * sake, we need to shift back into top gear as we will be facing much tougher opposition than Dundee over the next few months.

There is... It's call xG (expected goals) which are based on the actual attacking possession and chances teams have against each other... If I remember correctly we're about right in goals conceded to possession in dangerous areas/shots against us. I could be wrong though...

One thing I do know is we're about a goal or 2 less than our own xG says we should be getting...

McGregor had his worst game of the season, also thought O’Riley and Hatate were poor. Missed loads of chances and as per can’t defend simple set pieces.

Jota shouldn’t play on the right either, totally different player when he plays on the left.

Ref was pish however, that elbow on GG was a blatant penalty which he just ignored.

It's not really though. Xgoals is to do with actual chances created.

Dundee only had 19% of possession today and scored twice. In comparison to Ross County who conceded 2 to Hibs yesterday from 52% possession.
Probably not explaining my point well but losing 2 goals of 19% is obviously worse than 2 of of 52%

Exactly mate we’ve turned 1 point into 3 more often than not, can’t happen aw the time, Huns lost last minute goals to hearts at ibrox and Ross county turning 3 points into 1 on both occasions, we haven’t been leading then lost it injury time so can’t really complain

Defence almost cost us the win today. It was poor against Bodø and Aberdeen as well. Hopefully we get Jullien back in form soon.

Delighted that we grinded out a win though, the gap will put some serious pressure on the huns.

Ok, maybe I picked wrong one, but there's definitely a stat that rates teams by their actual possession in danger areas. I thought it was bundled into xG, but maybe not. There's someone on here that's into all the stats - they get them from 'the cynic' I think. They'd know better than me. Maybe someone can direct the question, or already has the answer...

Definitely need people to take an holistic approach to this kind of result with regards to a season. We'll definitely drop points we shouldn't, or pick them up when we didn't deserve them, or we * it out of the fire like today...

Holistically, I'd say we deserve to be top. That we probably have the correct number of points, but haven't got them they way our individual games went. Huns I believe have carried more luck than us, they just shout louder about the things that don't go their way. I'd say they should be 3 or 4 points less well off than they are, but grudgingly credit to them they rarely lose when under the cosh, and usually steal something.

I'd say our defence isn't nearly as bad as people think it is, thus our good defensive numbers, but that it's glaringly, shockingly bad when they * up, and that only Hart has stopped that being far more fatal than has been.

Upfront is the flip, we're completely dominant in almost every game and it's only sloppiness/refs stopping us from cruising every game. We're getting away about 15-25 shots a game, with possession in the 4th quartile most games and still in play to drop points. That's * mental!

Another 3 points is the main thing. Big GG superb! But we haven’t been great at home bar the derby game. Mostly either scoring late on or hanging on a bit towards the end. Hibs after break and StJohnstone back when GG scored his first have been the most comfortable and that was because we got penalty’s to go 2 up. Not creating enough clear cut chances, albeit today we created a few but that was playing bottom of the table.

Yep, agree with this. Thought we played quite well without being outstanding. It was hard to tell way up in the stands how difficult the wind was making things. Did it contribute to the goals we conceded.

All about opinions mate but I thought mcgregor played well and hatate was ok. I agree with you on oriley, worst game for us so far. The difficult conditions didn't help, we take the 3 points and move on.

Conditions had noting got to do with the goals we gave away. The defending was so so poor.
    Taylor dropped after last Thurs.
Starlfelt needs to be dropped now.
Big J to start for me this Thurs.

    * me I see it now, the SFA can't be that corrupt they let a staunch * like that, who isn't hiding his loyalties, near a game of ours surley. Could they?

Answer: yes they * could and will continue to do so.

Could you imagine a ref in Scotland with a four leaf clover tattoo on show or something.
