We all wanted Valle and Bernardo to start. We've all said Engels has been * for ages. We've known for 5 years Taylor can't defend.

Why can we see what's happening and what's required yet Rodgers can't?

 

I fully expect to see a different Celtic in the second half, plenty of time to go, need to start showing dominance on the ball

 

Tbf it's easy to nullify a team who can't string 2 passes together going forward and who seem content for their 2 cbs to pass the ball back an forth between themselves.

 

We had a bad half let the team come out and Try and make it up to us. I'm not ruling us out but on 60 I want bernardo on unless engels scores

 

That was a shockingly bad first-half. I don’t know why, but we’ve looked bizarrely nervous from the start.

The midfield trio have been nonexistent at best and varying degrees of awful at worst. The sooner Bernardo gets on the better.

Valle would be well within his rights to feel aggrieved for getting dropped for Taylor.

 

Nothing about Englels makes me think wow we got him for 11 million. He's gonna be our Bassey, completely and utterly bumped by the selling team.

When Kuhn floats those balls in with his left foot after cutting inside, the players need to be a lot sharper. We've had Kyogo struggle to control one whilst Hatate went for a weird header that was never going in even if he connected well with it. A bit of composure in both situations and the ball could easily be in the back of the net - Hatate in particular was in yards of space.

We manage to make the runs and Kuhn manages to pick out his teammates. But it's as if the players' limbs are made of spaghetti as soon as it enters the box. Need more authority here from the attackers.

 

We signed Engels for 11 and he played well against Leipzig
Taylor hasn't signed a new contract

If Taylor had then Valle would be on here for me. If Bernardo was our big money signing he'd be starting over Engels right now..

Both need subbed off here pronto..

 

They appear to have a plan, we don’t.

I'm not one for giving Taylor a hard-time usually(despite his flaws) but how can anybody who has ever played football not realise that constantly letting Skov Olsen cut inside onto his stronger foot is a bad idea. He never heard of showing a man down the line?

 

This is a carbon copy of the first half against a poor Hearts team. We need to up the pace. Too many backwards & sideways passing. We need to the wide men to take their full backs on the outside. I would bring on Valle, Bernardo & Idah.

 

The diets were cutting us open in the 1st half at the weekend, so it's not the first game we've started poorly.

 

Engels has had 1 decent game for us.....He absolute *.....same as Reo

 

We're miles too slow in our build up and interchange..speed things up and start moving for one another.

 

And despite all that we have actually had the best chance in the game, when Kuhn got in off the throw in, at this level we should have scored from that, I don’t know why Kuhn didn’t go for the far post.
