I've watched some past european games recently to see if defensive guys like Caldwell got singled out for personal mistakes or own goals , like the winning goal for Aalborg for example , but when you scrutinise it Caldwell is doing nothing wrong but running towards goal to clear the ball and Loovens kicks it straight at him , rebounding into the net.. I definately don't want to go down the route of sticking up for either Heid or Hoof from their time here but wonder did they only really turn * once Loovens was signed and is he doing the same to the new guys..

nah , it was after the game mate , it really makes me question why some * are allowed season tickets it really does , * imposter fans that they are

 

Fortune looked a lot more productive out on the wing, he was brilliant tonight.

To me it looks like Lennon is making the choices that fans want... he is just not doing it fast enough.... Like McCourt coming on with only 3 mins to go.

 

jos is looking ab it rusty after not playing for 6-7 months, but im sure he'll do good, he showed signs of real intelligent play, but a few times he got caught out making stupid mistakes, not to mention his yellow card, which was a dive but still was his fault he was able to get that far

 

totally agree - maloney was utter pish in pre season and the first braga game , why the * he was picked when its clearly obvious he has not fully recovered from injury yet or he has lost his bottle , as for mulgrew , get him to * now , naylor was 100 times better than him , and misun is a bit of a "jump on the bandwagon " guy i think , ALL our defense are * even from the gk , lennyy has got to bring in hildebrand and wallace and maybe even bamba , woefull is a compliment to our defense , i was cringing all night watching all them players tonight.
Hooper did well and juarez was good too , fortune was like a new signing too.
We are not ready for europe and these games to quick for us but our defense even being rusty is not an answer !
