Milk turns quicker than Loovens and Hooiveld, we need a pacy centre back brought in who can also defend well. Mulgrew flattered to deceive once again as did Maloney and i think the wee man's best days are behind him although i hope he proves me wrong.

On a positive note however, Juarez, Cha and Ledley all played well and the more games they get together the better an understanding i think all the new players will have

one thing that made me sick tonight is when the announcement was made for samaras being man of the match most of these so called "celtic fans" BOOED it dosent matter if yae think he was great , ok , pish , whatever booing is out of order , I felt embarrassed for them

I think tonights performance from maloney settles the mcgeady v maloney debate.I have never seen a more feeble player than maloney.he couldn't beat a man and couldn't cross a ball from set pieces

well considering the season and the manager we had, 6 goals and 15 in all competitions isnt that bad.

It was a comedy of errors. Mulgrew gave the ball away, Hooiveld went missing, Loovens stood and watched the ball and Zaluska was rooted to the wrong spot.

Sums up our most urgent needs - a centre back, a left back and a goalkeeper. If McGeady has to go to fund bringing those three in, then tie him up and package him to Russia tonight.

 

happy with the bit of fight shown in second half. loovens and zaluska are a bombscare at the back. my heart was in my mouth every time they got the ball. maloney off injured again. nothin new!! mulgrew absolute *. wouldnt start him in reserves. brown just wanted to kick people keep doin that mate and you'll be on sidelines. all the rest i thought did reasonably ok. juarez looks at great player as does hooperman. i can see ledley turnin into a fine player once he finds his feet. if we can get rid of these obvious problems (gk, lb and cb) then the spl will be comin home. mon hoops hail hail

Wrong, maloney played a lose pass to Mulgrew, who didnt put in a good enough effort in the 50/50 but Cha let the left winger for them get across him by a few yards and give him an umpressured free header, he got cal lball watching and not been aware of what players were around him

naw its just pre-season games are for fitness, ourt trips to the u.s are for people there to see our teams, i don't care if we win or lose, preferrably we don't get hammered like but otherwise am not fussed.

Tonights proved we NEED to get Loovens to *. What does he bring to the team? We should give Misun/Hooiveld/Rogne the chance at the back, especially in the SPL. They look like solid young players with bags of potential!

On a more positive note, if we manage to bring in a keeper, left back and possibly an experienced centre half, I reckon we have a team who'll challenge in the europa league and give us a shot at the league and cups this year

 

their goal was what 8-5 yrds out, it is so hard to defend a ball that comes in unexpected and you are running back to your own goal. I need to see their goal again.

Either way, why are we getting stuck on it as a topic of convo, it killed the tie, yes but it would have been worse if we took the lead then conceded imo, because we wouldnt have came back imo.
