Hoiveid talks a good game in the paper with an odd swear word and he`s a hero ??
Bit like brown who does his best "Rocky Balboa" act to hide the fact that he`s a really pish footballer - what is it with our last 3 managers who have their "Favourites" who are not that great. - Fed up of hearing players talk a good game in the paper who have won sweet * all at celtic.

Just back from match some good points and some bad.
    Bad
maloney brown samaras mulgrew loovens feckin useless one and all. Lightweight with little or no courage ability or football brain.
    Good
juarez looks good when played in the centre. Cha looked ok and hooper showed a bit of promise.
The rest of the team were somewher between average and ok

their was only one team trying to win tonight which was what i expected considering we were three nil down zaluska didnt have much to do braga just sat in 4-5-1 and tried to hit us on the break. samaras, maloney, loovens and mulgrew were pish felt quite sorry for mulgrew at times cos maloney didnt give much help saying that tho mulgrew and atleast 2 other players should have cut the cross out for their goal and cha just fell asleep it was a shocking goal to let in . but a part from that their was alot of positives, everyone likes to slag brown off but i thought he was good. he was agressive, full of running and won the ball back for us time and time again. thought ledly showed in patches what a good player he will be for us. he has a good left foot, made some good passes linked the play well and did just as well when he went back to left back. juarez didnt do much in the first half but when he got moved inside to centre mid in the second half he looked quality and it was good to see him score. i think he will score a few for us this year. hooper looked good what was pleasing for me as well as him scoring was that he didnt look out of place considering he was a championship player 2 weeks ago. i was impressed with his touch, movement he held it up when he had to and he linked the play well to. i thought fortune and murphy did ok when they came on think fortune is better out wide created hoopers goal and looked dangerous. its pretty obvious that we need another 4/5 players. gk. 2 x cb. lb. and another striker and get rid of samaras, loovens, and all the other dead wood eg crosas, hinkel etc , and we will be looking good for this season ahead.

Aye fans who dont have a * clue about football ,apart from thinking we are a massive world class club , when we are no better than average today we need to stop living in the past and wake up to the fact we are pish.

i just wanted to mention one of the most enjoyable parts of the game tonight for me, watching the green brigade all jumping about and singing. They kept up the atmosphere for the entire game and deserve special mention. My dad went to me after having gazed at them for a couple of minutes or so; "they must be very tired when they get hame". As you can tell we were both so enthralled by the calibre of football on display

Hail Hail and well done the green brigade hope to see more of it this season :celt_2:

you felt sorry for mulgrew? how about hooiveld, having to cover for mulgrew who wasn't covered by maloney and then have loovens up your * leaving the middle exposed. * bombscare. loovens, maloney, mulgrew are the weak links that lead to our inability to keep a clean sheet. why there are continued to be played is a mystery. especially loovens and maloney when other options are available.

everyone likes to slag brown off but i thought he was good. he was agressive, full of running and won the ball back for us time and time again. ????

The Guy is talentless - he spends half the time running round trying to pick fights when he should be rallying the troops and pushing the team on. Like his wee ned of a pal McGeady he`s been found out years ago either being a one trick pony or just a very average ex hibs player. The Team is still full of Empty Jerseys and that defence is now in its 4th year to get it fixed cos we better get used to teams scoring 2 or 3 goals before we try and start trying to save the game.

We had quite a poor first have most of the team played reasonably well.the main negatives were hooiveld, loovens and mulgrew as for these people constantly hating on brown because he picks up yellows for rushing into tackles is because he is having to cover for the likes of mulgrew, samaras, maloney, mccourt, crosas and ki who will not go near the ball if it involves them needing to make a tackle. I felt he was effective tonight at breaking up bragas attack and didnt deserve his yellow. passing was not as bad as it was made out and as for the cult following mccourt has i have a feeling its just because he is Irish. WHAT THE * HAS HE DONE APART FROM THE ST.MIRREN GOAL!!!!!!!!?

I think we'll be fine in the league this season tbh. That wasn't the best performance you'll ever see but I thought it was a noticable improvement on last season.

I got the final score right.
Good luck Celtic for the UEFA round.
Guess we are not that "average" team as many considered...

    Good luck to Braga

I'm frustrated as you didn't play against us at our best or even just good. It was all too much with the Braga goal at CP. Would like to see Braga beat the team in the next round as it would mean a shock result.

and the falkirk goal and the st johnstone goal, and the st pauli goal and the seattle goal.......all with very little gametime. His goals to minutes played ratio is more than likely better than most of our strikers.:97:

didn't have high hopes for this match tbh, as negative as this sounds, so im not as gutted as i could be. Good to see some of the new fellas bagged some goals. didn't catch the match either due to work so can't critisize from my on point of view...but judging by some posts it seems it's the usual issue with our defence..

    Ta SuperNick.
Our championship didnt start yet and we didnt play as many matchs in tournaments (none actually!) as you did. Yes, we dont have the history of Celtic but we are definetly a TEAM and not just a bunch of players.
No matter whos next we will always "eat the grass" as we say here.

    Cheers.

Defence and Lennon for me , If he cant see what is wrong with that defence then he needs to walk , still dont think he cut out to be the Celtic manager time will tell and i will back him .
