Absolutely mental. It's a European trophy that is genuinely winnable for us.

Totally mental that some folk don't want to win this. First European competition in about 20 odd year that we genuinely have a chance of winning and folk want to rest all our first team players. Go and make a bit of history.

League priority for me. Be happy just to come away from this with no injuries

Of course it will be full strength. Anyone who thinks otherwise is kidding themselves.

Folk say the same when we are in the EL that we should rest players and concentrate on the league. Guess what we don’t unless it’s a dead rubber and we still can’t get anywhere in that competition. We could finish this off on Thursday and give some players a rest next week.

Think we'll start O'Riley and big Jackie. With MJ injured we might want to keep Maeda on the bench to bring on for Jota later on in the game. Think O'Riley had a better game against the sheep last week than Rogic had on Sunday.

For me whether we have a genuine chance to win this competition or not the fact is we are playing the Norwegian champions in a European knock out round tie over two legs. It is a tie we are capable of winning which would see us through to the last 16 and it is quite a while since we have have made the last 16 in any format in Europe. So I imagine we will see our stongest side possible line out and hopefully the atmosphere in the stadium and the hunger on the field can produce a big performance and big night for us.
My biggest concern right now is there seems to be a bit of over confidence that we are going to win this tie. That we could even run up a score and put the tie to bed even before the second leg over in Norway. That makes me nervous. I know they may have lost a player or 2 in the last transfer window but this is still a side who's group stage results were impressive and I have to imagine playing on a plastic pitch in the artic they have a really good home record. We are going to have to be very good I think to win on Thursday night and the tie overall.

Assuming the map is accurate there’s probably 53 or 54k sold at the moment. There’s not a huge number of seats available in any section.

Good news as we will need the crowd as I expect Bodo Glimt to be a tough nut to crack on Thursday night.

Not saying dont go to win it, but dont risk any big players, even if we did win this, its £9m prize money max from here on in, nothing compared to CL.

We've got enough players to use and not risk anyone who aint 100% fit or carrying any niggles. And give players who need game time, some time on park.

We're already seeing how much luck we dont have with players picking up injuries.
