We gave them a fright, scored a perfectly good goal, should of had a pen, maeda brilliant through the middle.

It's bayern, definitely things didn't go our way but very proud of the effort. In Germany it will be difficult but were still in this tie.

Brendan telling the ref at the end. You are on hit list now for not giving that pen

Give all 11 a rest at the weekend. * the league, we've won that anyway.

    Proud of the team.

They’re a fantastic team who will be in the conversation for the trophy, and we gave them a decent go in the end there.

It was actually refreshing to see a good game of football with no nonsense from each side. Good game played the right way.

The guys good impressed by him you can see he's played at the highest levels strong and composed in the ball

I'm thinking we may not be able to afford his wages though, surprises me about resigning Tierney aswell with what his wages were

If we can find a way to fix Hatate/Engels and Taylor.....we look really good at times.....Daizen up front is a must and Idah on to slow it down in 2nd half.

That’s what we wanted despite the scoreline…

Can go to Germany with heads held high..

Feels good despite the loss and a difficult away keg to come.

We played well tonight and could have got a better result. Likewise, Bayern could have scored more so take it for what it is. Play them away still in the game and really go for it. You just never know when you have Maeda and Yang…

Done really well to get back into it, just couldn't get that other chance. Their game management in injury time showed how good a side they are

So frustrating....we have a great performance in us and carry real attacking threat - just be braver on the ball and more aggressive in midfield.
Too passive off ball and too negative on it for first 60mins.
    Last 30 mins, excellent.

Fair point. Think that’s essentially what Rodger’s brings to us.

Having coached in England, he knows what’s needed, and probably has the data to back things up in regard sprint speeds, distances covered and even probably weights lifted when in the gym.
