Well in my mind the real result was 0-0.. Disappointed that we didn't create any more chances, but then again Arsenal are truely superb and my tip for the EPL!

Lets start with Brown being the "most over rated player I have ever seen"
Thats an over exaggeration if ever I heard one

Good one form Arsenal fans there. Great gesture. And what happened to Arshavin? Somebody threw a bottle on him? Disgrace or what?:47:

we were desperately unlucky to lose. we didnt do much going forward but defensively did enough to atleast deserve a 0-0. but maybe thats where we lost the game. we should have much more pressure in the final third. fortune wasted atleast two good chances. the only thing arsenal did well was to close us down quickly when we lost possession. our lads always wanted a second more on the ball but it just wasnt there. but in all fairness we should'nt be playing such a tough team this time of the tournament. its just because of that idiot who is at the uefa helm :31::31:. * at that idiot gallas scoring and then celebrating as if he scored a 25 yard screamer :47::47:. btw the YNWA was class and really outstanding. celtic park- home of the best fans of the world :50:

That was what disappointed me too. Overall we did OK but we really never had Arsenal under the cosh at any stage in the match.

The press reports- shock! horror! Celtic aren't as good as Arsenal and there's a 'gulf in class'! What's next, bears * in the woods?

I didn't think we played that badly last night. New manager, new style, new players, coming up against a slick Arsenal side.

What galls me is the English press, judging Celtic on this performance, spouting crap like we'd not survive in the Premier League. As if we'd keep the same squad if we were allowed to enter.

And didn't the team that finished 5th last year, only 9 points behind Arsenal, get gubbed 1-6 by them just at the weekend?

Going by their rationale, Everton wouldn't survive in the SPL, then? Which is utter bollocks of course, but I'm sure you all get my drift.

I was a wee bit back and thought it clouted him on the back, couple of other boys that have posted were closer and said it was a Capri-sun bottle. It hardly hit him and the guy was turfed out. Doesn't matter though it's still a moronic thing to do.

It wasn't in any of the papers I read today (Metro and Sun) so maybe we escaped it. Unsure.

So what your saying by your statement is that it's acceptable to throw a capri sun bottles regardless it not hitting the intended target? How would you feel if someone did that to you?

I'm sure his quote clearly states "doesn't matter, it was still a moronic thing to do", he's not condoning it, is he?

You misunderstand me, even if he threw a cottonball at him he would get * out, last thing we need is for the club to get skelped because of one *.

Also I give Arshavin his due, he could have hit the deck like Dida but he just shook it off.

For my two pennies worth, I'm happy with the result. It was more a professional job rather than a spectacular display by Arsenal and I believe we will do the same back at the Emirates. Our new Belgian lad (I still struggle to spell his name so won't bother) was our man of the match yesterday, kept you lot at bay. Two fortunate goals but hey they all count. Celtic gave it their best shot but after going 2-0 down they just lost heart. You guys are missing Nakamura and Hasselink (another continental who's name I struggle with) but i guess that's a given anyway.

Nice to meet you lot by the way.

Still, what a * clown could've done this. Unbelievable how some idiots are let at Celtic Park. Embarrassment.

And if it was anybody else, but Arshavin, worst possible Arsenal player to have a go at. He's a great guy, he didn't desreve it at all. To be honest, neither did anyone from Arsenal except from, maybe, Van Persie... But still, wouldn't like that to happen to anyone.

In my words, it means it mnakes no difference whether it was a paper plane,or a brick, it's still unacceptable.
