    Europa League prize money 500,000 for last 32 kerching lol, 750,000 for last 16, quarter finals 1,000,000, semi final 1,600,000, runner up 3.5 million , winner 6.5 million. pretty crap rewards really but not compared to the small amount for winning spfl lol so we have to get to the final really to make any real dosh lol.HH. another half million more than deadco and counting .

    I'm with Hartson here, think Sutton is being harsh. Those three pundits who reached a European final would cost in excess of £200m in today's game. I think that's what John is saying.
    Larsson is more philosophical but he thinks like a genius. I mean it took him 12 minutes to change the result of a CL final :56:
    I'm happy with Brendan and the Bhoys. We need to spend the money he's delivered and 3 quality players could totally raise our level to compete in Europe.

    Well finishing in third is certainly an improvement, but have we progressed in terms of how good we are since last season?

    Good away win at Anderlecht. Good against Bayern at home. Rotten in all the others.

    As opposed to 2 draws against City last season and an away draw at BMG.

    Played a lot better in the 2nd half but plain and simple we are pish in Europe these days. Getting swept aside off teams we really should be beating just isn't good enough.

    We were pish. Not happy with that at all. A few of them can hold their heads high bit most of the team were below par and the first half was embarrassingly bad.

    Absolutely shocking performance. Haven't been this * off at a loss since we lost to the Huns on penalties last year.

    Anyone who thinks it's okay because we qualified for the EL need to give themselves a shake. Celtic Park is no longer a fortress. That reputation got battered long ago, let's be honest. Teams must actual look forward to coming here now.

    Armstrong was awful, Sinclair even worse, and we'd be about 5-0 down against a better team if Boyata is kicking about. Ntcham, Broony and KT are the only ones who can come out with any credit. The rest need to get their heads ripped off by Rodgers.

    We play like that in the EL we'll get scudded. You think it's just farmers and policeman who play in the EL.

    £38 a game for every person who went and for what? To get absolutely * humiliated against PSG, two silly mistakes costing us against Bayern, and arguably a worse performance than against Gladbach last season.

    Expect much, MUCH better from here on in.

    Actually i am really looking forward to watching us play at least 3 more double headers in Europe this season,perhaps 4 or more,think positive,the team has a real chance to put things right in Europe,big time.
