I really don't get the disappointment. The fact we won 3-0 over there meant we had to set up differently, tonight we got the job done, wasn't pretty , but job done. On the the Europa league.

 

Yes that is what i am thinking,in the last 32 a really good home win will get out belief back,i think the worst is over now for our home record,some cracking wins to be enjoyed for the rest of the season and beyond

 

hartson had a defeatist attitude there and i thought Henrik was leaning towards Sutty when he said it's a question of personal attitude and reflection before you look anywhere else.

Very well put ,and the importance of this game seemed to bare down heavy on us ,the biggest problem we have is our passing under better pressure is poor ,we then are not able to play our own game dominating,and also tiring them out ,in this tournament its been the our opponets doing it to us .

 

Couldn’t bring myself to watch the post match. Was it any good. Hated the commentary saying their would be celebrating at full time.

 

As big Packie stated on BBC Radio we have regressed this year in europe performance wise from last season when we had good games against Man City & Gladbach. The irony is we have qualified for Europa but we need to get better. Certain players not performing this year compared to last year. Sinclair one of them

 

More disappointed than the 5-0 game...really thought their would be a party in Glasgow tonight.

 

Glad we've made it to the Europa but I'd be lying if I said this campaign hasn't been massively underwhelming.

 

We need better footballers in our team.

I think most teams would regress if they went from playing Man City and Gladbach to Bayern and * PSG

I dont understand how anyone can sit and be that happy after tonight? Yes we got to Europa and that is good, extremely pleased to see us be in Europe after Christmas, but as end of day after this group we should of been getting third, the performance tonight was shambolic and cannot be overlooked.

we where * abysmal, generally embarrassing, how the * did we produce a performance like that? Second best every department, * first half * second half. Armstrong should not play a game for us again get him shipped in Jan he doesn't want to be here. No over reaction that was dire, we bottled the occasion. People say "job done" well of course the job was done we won 3-0 at their spot, but no one can sit there and tell me that tonight that's how they expected us to play and Rodgers set up for us to lose the ball and let them attack us all night. Winning trophies is becoming the norm. Shame you never posted when we won any of them...

 

What a load of rubbish, last season we finished bottom of the group , this season we have European football after christmas. Massive improvement.

 

First half was pitiful. Worryingly we have some player's who were hiding during that half and not for the first time..

I look across to a man keeping it all together and never hiding, trying to steady the ship and it puts other's to shame. Broony again..

Second half was better with Ntcham. Rogic was decent as a lot of play stuck through him and Dembele and KT bar his abysmal clearance for the goal were all good. Forrest excellent yet again..

I know we're through but pretty * off at that. Thought we'd put on a show and get that home win..

 

So much for "winning for the fans......" no passion, clueless, wayward passing. A lot of players need to take a long hard look at themselves after that performance.
