 Any Celtic fan who thinks the Ajax fans are like Barca or Milan fans in Glasgow need to get a grip. This will be like the night we played Hamburg, the cops will keep it tight and move them from the City Centre to Celtic Park in a massive operation, you will see riot cops, dogs, mounted police the works. They aint coming over to say hello, if they can the Ajax support (the ones who travel all over) will try and have a go.

Be warned.

As for Celtic twittering a nice warm welcome from the Celtic fans, well the board haven't a feckin clue and any celtic fan thats too young to remember how it was back in the 70's, 80's even part of the 90's ask the older generation and again Tuesday will not be a love-in...

I would rather the hostility as it provides a real edge to the game which adds to the atmosphere. I don't have much time for love ins tbh. I was at the Hamburg game right next to the away fans and although we got beat I enjoyed the hostile atmosphere.

It's not like any of our supporters are going to be greeting them at the stadium with boxes of chocolates or flowers.It's well known some teams carry more of a risk and in Europe it's not that unusual for police to play a much bigger role in containing the visiting support.If I remember correctly it was the same when we played Spartak and even Milan.

So that will tell Celtic fans all they need to know of what may happen if you get cought off guard or on yr own if you bump into them. Whether some of them did that or not isn't the point,there was a heavy police presence at their exit and they were kept behind rows of police and makeshift barriers.

We need to win this game if we have any chance of qualifying.

If we can win this game and Barca beat Milan twice, even a defeat in Amsterdam would still leave us in the mix.

Nothing to fear for me, they are not the team they were last season.
