Bus was running a bit late so got stuck behind the Ajax fans being escorted down London Rd then had to walk half way round the stadium to get in because the police blocked off the wee hill I usually go up to get in. What a * mob they were. (Anyone know why they kicked off at half-time? Just hunners of them suddenly down at the bottom clashing with the police and stewards.)

Anyway, MOTM for me was big Virgil. Efe had his wee moment of heart attack material but I'm becoming accustomed to that now. :icon_mrgreen: Said to the guy behind me after we'd scored how important big Fraser's save was - guy was class as per usual.

    * superb result the night, wee Jimmy Forrest is maturing into some player. Baws of steel the wee man had to smash that home. Kayal jammed it but al take it anyways.

Bring them on in the dam, just need a wee rub o the green and we could be last 16 bound.

Whit aboot big Biton? Daft *!

    He's called Serero. He's a South African.

    Serero?

    I thought he was terrible.

Chrisian Pouslen actually looked good for them tonight.

I was expecting way more from Fischer and Sigþórsson.

I thought so too. He wasted a few good opportunities. Fischer is highly rated but I've seen him 3-4 times and have never been impressed. With his reputation I'm sure I've just caught him on bad days, but still... when he's inactive he's a waste of space.

Everyone knows fae a young age, don't dive in. Was a daft challenge awright maybe he was too keen to make an impact, and its just as well he didn't catch the boy.

I agree. Very, very intelligent player. Reminds me of Busquets the way he acts as a pivot and also drops back between the centre backs (which in turn pushes them wide AND pushes the full backs on.)

Hasn't got the legs really anymore but there's plenty of runners around him.

That Ajax side is a million miles from the side they were last season in Europe. I was very impressed with them last season. That's what happens when you rip a team apart.
