Engels MOTM for me. Maeda, Schlupp, CCV were good as well, and Yang, Mccowan and Idah made very decent contributions when they came on.

Wasn't the tidiest start to the game, especially defensively but we were clinical up top and improved massively as game went on.

Wouldn't be against Hatate and Trusty getting a rest next game, they look like they need it. Scales caught out a bit for their goal but we were pushing away up when we didn't really need to, would be fine with him starting on Saturday.

Just the result we wanted after last couple games.

Genuinely one of the most bizarre games I've seen in some time.

Thought we were flat and slack throughout but scored 5:56:

We clearly are running on fumes a bit at the moment. Take that all day and move on.

    Engels MOTM.

Can tell we were running on fumes tonight, Trusty, Hatate and Kuhn looked beyond knackered and were sloppy.

Engels motm, Yang and Maeda excellent and another good performance from Jota.

You see, if you weren’t an immature * with the brain of a pea you’d be apologising for being way over the top and then we’d move the * on, but you clearly haven’t the self-awareness or decency to man up and do that. Well done, fuckface.

    5-1 very comfortable... on paper.

If the Dons had their shooting boots on and let's be honest, Aberdeen second string keeper between the sticks. But it counts and not complaining!!! 5-1, happy days!

That late goal from the Dons blows what would've been a record 10 straight league wins with CS at home.

Charlie Shaw's records (9 straight wins with a CS) & his overall consecutive league CS at home (12, W10 & 2x 0-0) remains.

    • Celtic have lost once in 77 'Home' League matches overall.
    • Celtic are undefeated in past 24 League matches at home (W21 D2) since December 2023.
    • Fortress Paradise!!!!

    Nice one mate!

Aye he's looking absolutely class either on that left side or through the middle.

Was really worried that if Idah struggled we had no alternative. Maeda suddenly comes in and looks even better than Kyogo through there. The improvements in his game are a joy to watch.

I disagreed with the uproar from some of us when Kyogo left . I saw an opportunity for us to be even better with more options and lines of attack. We can be more dynamic now as Kyogo played a certain role. When he played badly it ruined our rhythm.

    What an odd game.

Really encouraging to hear Engels talk about how unhappy the team was at half time because they weren't playing well. That's a pretty special attitude when you are 3 0 up at half time.

Which is fair enough. The club should be introducing this sell on scheme that a few other clubs do, which would benefit people in that situation and people trying to get tickets as well.

I was absolutely fuming. I loved Kyogo and dunno if I'd blame him for much, even if that's my bias towards him talking. Have to go back to Henrik I think to find such a prolific derby-day scorer.

Managed to score in both nets against the huns at Hampden, Celtic Park, and Ibrox. Always loved that stat.

But aye back to the here and now, we've moved on and evidently it's been for the better.
