CCV was making me panic. He got roasted all game. Done in behind for the first goal, and if not for Hart, he was done in behind for an identical chance first half. Beaten in the air constantly and got dragged all over the park by Miovski. Scales was no better. Both of them were shocking today.

 

What do you think was horrible game management?

 

How can you say horrible management? You’ve just said 2 of his subs played well? Makes 0 sense.

On a side note I did think we didn’t play to our standards but Aberdeen put everything into that as it was the last thing they had to play for this season and the fact the new manager has been announced has obviously given them a lift. Either way the momentum that wins given us will be brilliant for the league run in.

 

Playing McGregor from the start when he's obviously not fit. Leaving Kyogo so isolated he constantly had to drop deeper to try and get the ball. Leaving Yang on for the second half. Conceding the midfield to Aberdeen and until Iwata came on doing nothing about it. Putting 3 CBs on the field. Letting Hart take a penalty. Having no game plan to see out a game even though we've been stung several times this season by it.

We were a shapeless mess today.

 

Just replied on this. McGregor shouldn't have stated. Iwata should have. Yang should have been replaced earlier. Plus other points you can read in my other comment.

 

Do you not think the players need to take responsibility? Not one of them showed composure. O’Riley up until his goal looked like he was playing with someone else’s boots on. Hatate struggled with the ball and McGregor was giving it away constantly. There was nothing wrong with the team selection in midfield, it was the players show didn’t show up. Yang starting instead of Forrest/Palma is really the only thing you could say Rodgers got really wrong from the start.

His subs in the game though were good. Forrest and Iwata made us more solid and better going forward. Idah done ok. The sub at the end made sense as we couldn’t defend a ball into our box. Nawrocki didn’t get time to get into position before the ball hit the net though. Which was another shitshow from Scales. Individually we were a disgrace today, and players need to take responsibility.

 

Well the timing of bringing yang off and Forrest on worked a treat. I was screaming for another CB as I wanted to try not have a repeat of ibrox and losing the 3-2 lead late on again as it obviously never worked at ibrox not bringing another one on so I understood the thought process. As for hart taking the pen, well he explained he’s always practicing them in his interview post match and obviously must be better than the others, he scored a screamer for Man City years ago. We don’t have good pen takers as we know. He obviously shows he’s better in training they wouldn’t have just put him on the pen for no reason or for the crack. Aberdeen had a game plan and it worked well, we’re through and that’s all that matters. We had plenty chances to be out of sight but we were wasteful in front of goal. Rodgers can’t put the ball in the net for them. Just think you’re being a tad harsh but it’s your opinion.

 

Actually thought Aberdeen deserved to win today. Particularly first half Duk, Miovski and Clarkson tore us to bits.

Thought we were on the ascendancy before we got both goals to go ahead. After we went ahead both times our momentum dropped significantly instead of trying to get a 2 goal cushion and killing the game out.

Aberdeen played well and had their moments but they hardly tore us to bits mate. No saying we were great but we missed some good chances and should have been out of sight particularly second half.

 

First half thought they were much better than us. Miovski seemed to get in behind CCV several times far too easily and Scales and Taylor looked petrified when Duk ran at them, which he did a lot.

Iwata coming on helped a lot.

 

I responded to your question on Rodgers game mismanagement. Not sure why you've just ignored it and changed the subject entirely now.

Need the boy to just attack, he shites it sometimes but he's got it.

 

I guess if we had to pick a game to draw then this one would be it, horrible for the nerves but we got through it. Need much better from the team for the league games.
