full strength. Keep the momentum going. no messing about resting players they don't need resting. take players off when were 2 or 3 up and that's where they can rest. absolutely wild that people are suggesting resting players for a cup semi. What about if we get beat because of doing that? Confidence then goes down etc.

Agree with the above posts. Full strength, blow them away and get it wrapped up within an hour hopefully. Make some changes for key players then if we can.

    We need to maintain momentum.

Obviously we'll play our strongest XI, would be mental not to.

After all the problems throughout the season, finishing the season with a double would be excellent.

Imagine Rodgers getting asked about keeping our best players on the bench in a Scottish Cup semi final. 'Yeah the leagues more important so we'll play a weakened team today to help avoid injuries. We're still better than them though so it'll be fine'.

If anyone thinks that is even remotely possible you're aswell no following football at all fs :giggle1:

Obviously Maeda won't play so maybe Palma is ready now to start on the left. Biggest question for me would be around McGregor. Is he truly ready to start or is he still working his way back off the bench.

Think he’ll start, looked much more like himself on Sat when he came on & will have another weeks training under his belt.

See given what’s happened since the St Mirren game with them, we need to come out the traps quick and get this won, show no signs of a route back in or us looking vulnerable.

I know this is the cup and not the league but a strong performance, sends a message that we are here to get the job done and take a double home.

Actually feels good being able to park the league now this weekend, particularly in the context of being 3 points and 5 goals clear after the last week.

    I'd go

    Hart
    Johnston CCV Nawrocki Taylor
    Iwata
    O'Riley Hatate
    Kuhn Idah Palma

Palma seemed fit/sharp enough to start, McGregor I still think doesn't.

McGregor, Bernardo, Forrest, Yang and Kyogo to bring on.

Be interesting to see Idah starting with Kuhn and Palma who can both deliver a ball, could do with Palma scoring as well before the League run in to get back to normality. Let Palma build a bit of chemistry with Hatate also who he's barely played with.

Think we need to keep the momentum with Kyogo. Otherwise agree.

Anyone thinking since a cup game perhaps rest day Hatate and kyogo to try avoid them picking up knocks for the league? Still obviously field a strong team then bring them on for last 25. Could have bernardo ahead of Hatate and idah ahead of kyogo. Also keeps Idah and bernardo match sharp. Or should we field our strongest team regardless? Deffo should be turning the sheep over either way especially on their current form

This is all Aberdeen have to play for. They'll give it everything on Saturday. Don't underestimate them.
