Celtic Under Threat Of Losing CL Place

This is the problem in scotland....and it has always been the same....long before football was ever played.
We are so busy trying to * each other over that yet again the country suffers....but so long as we are one point ahead of ranger.....no matter how * * the league is or if we ever play in europe again it dont matter just beat the huns.
But when the SFA look after themself and ignore what changes are needed in the game we all shout and scream for their heads.
Well this is the way spl is heading....right down the * and its going to drag celtic and rangers with it.
Get used to our pathetic little teams having no european football.
If we refuse as a country and as supporters to change then what hope do we have.
But hey so long as we get one more point than the huns it dont matter about europe.

Although I agree that Fletcher isn't really anywhere near that value, I do think, and did at the time, that he would have helped us get 4 in a row.

Did we not have to play Hutchison of the bench a few times that season? I mean, even thats how desperate we were.

its going to be a long long time before scotland get back to 2 c/l spots when we sign another larsson who will but 50+ goals if for us then we can think of this plus a team that can win away!

 

At the time he could have made a difference and we probably would have won the league and cl money would have bee ours instead of the huns .

 

Wake up and smell the coffee, we have lost the place, used to beat teams at Celtic Park in Europe but hey can't even do that in the Spl ha ha this is how good we are, who is affraid of us now, no manager has inspired this

 

I'm an outsider to Scotland, but I've studied ethnic and religious conflict in an academic setting and this seems to be about right

 

I can assure really no one, neither in germany, austria or switzerland, neither my foreign friends, literally nobody talks about them or rates their def.

people don't talk or care about small team like the huns outside of scotland. have to say the same applies to celtic, but at least some people got sympathies for Celtic over here because of their Irish roots.

 

Laugh at Rangers getting pumped all you like, the fact is, you won't be laughing when we don't get into the Champions League for a good few seasons at least.

Stupid post. We played two games at Celtic Park in Europe this season and won them both.

 

I was just saying yesterday to the wife about us being in the San Siro 3 years ago for her birthday. Ok we got beat on the night but we still had a party because we qualified for the last 16 of the CL.

3 years shouldn't be that long of a time for the amount of damage that has been done over it. Somehow we managed to fall from those great heights with not knowing how long it’s going to take to climb back up, If ever.

How can we blame the SFA for our poor showing in Europe since then, this is all down to how bad our team has become over that period.

As a club, we didn't invest in the team and have continued to throw a pittances at the players we brought in, no wonder the coefficient has gone down.

We have to blame ourselves for the reasons to why we may not get CL football without having to play 2 or 3 qualifiers. It will be back to playing Shamrock Rovers and Linfield.

Thank * they changed the rules so as the champions from qualifying groups can’t meet any of the top nations 2^nd or 3^rd best teams.
