    2 ways of looking at this. Come Friday we will have improved from right now so that could be 1 or 2 players. Or improve from end of last season which means improving over and above from MOR leaving

    Agreed. I cant however see us splashing £9-10 million on Engels and another £8 million on Boguesz. Much more likely one of them and a cheaper option like Sanches who would cost more like £4 million or so.

    There is no chance they release KT. Absolutely no chance.

    However, I’ll bite. If they do, we simply cannot ignore that deal if he was available for * all. Doubt he would be asking for extortionate wages if they’ve just paid him off too. Walk away with a £10m payout from Arsenal.

    If KT is going to be released and he wants to come back here, it wouldn't have to be done by Friday. He's injured as well is he not.

    I don't even want KT as a homegrown free..

    That's how pointless I see it..

    A player who's goosed, unable to play twice a week and a certain crock....when we've champions league games also. Might as well just offer Taylor a bumper contract ffs..

    I think I’d rather use the money a wee bit wiser. Certainly looks like the fees for Engels/Bogusz will go to around £17/£18m. For two players, that’s a lot.

    For the £17m/£18m, we could get Engels for £9m, Sanches for £4m, Toure for £5m. That’s 2xCM and a LW

    Just play him once a week then. Work the schedule around KT playing CL matches and GT getting most of the cup ties and league games when KT is playing midweek.
