You'd think we'll hear something tomorrow one way or the other. I'd imagine it's the news we're all dreading though.

 

We all know he's going so it's really a case of the sooner the better now

10 days left and the charlatans in the boardroom are again not doing anywhere near enough to improve the squad..it's * scandalous what these guys are getting away with.

 

I sway from being angry to apathetic. But I never really expected anything different tbh. Last Summer was the final nail in the coffin for me; the Winter window just hammered it down.

Sadly, I highly doubt anything will ever change unless Desmond and Lawwell * off for good.

 

Got shot down for saying it about a month ago but still rings true.

That * Lawwell is so tight that he will leave signings to the last minute just so he can save 2 months wages.

5 players coming in on 10-20k at start of July would cost a minimum of £450,000. This is a guy who cost us the signing of John Mcginn and all the subsequent fall out of that failure, for £200k.

 

No faith whatsoever in our board getting the players in that we will need in the next 10 days.

 

Or maybe agents have just had enough of dealing with Celtic and their penny pinching

 

Seen a screenshot of someone claiming Rodgers will chuck it after the o** f**m match. Scunnered with the window. Claims we will sign McCowan a french CB and a LB on loan from serie A. Potter said no but Moyes is a goer with Lennon as number two

I'm there with you! Have been all along. Just quietly hoping for the best and seizing the initiative. But no, was never happening. Anges determination got us moving quickly. That's been the anomaly. Back to type now.

Should we have expected anything less really though? We're absolutely amateurs off the field in terms of recruitment, scouting and youth set up. Any sort of strategy ended up being ran by Lawell JNR...and look where we are.

It'd be so simple to set up a streamlined, modern approach to the football side aligned to the recruitment side. But we don't, as the power people in charge, want that power to remain with them. For intelligent businessmen, they don't have make some shocking business decisions that hold the club back.
