I think people undervalue living in the UK tbf.

The way people talk is like it's rhe absolute back end of nowhere. Plenty of quality places to live and doesn't need to live in Glasgow City centre either. I doubt most of our players do tbh.

A deal like McCowan should be easy enough to do, you don't need to wait on Oreilly going out to pay about a million for him dont understand how this club cant do deals to get players in and out at the same time, getting more depressing every window.

Weeks are passing and we're getting nothing done, looking very unlikely that we'll get 4 or 5 in with 11 days left.

Anyone who still thinks we will make 4-5 signings need their head checked.

We’ve no intention of improving the team for Europe. We won’t even be guaranteed a place in the Champions League next year so the last thing the board want is a big wage bill without guaranteed CL revenue.

Downsizing. Negligence. Lack of ambition. It’s all of the above.

99% of supporters don’t care as long as we are better than the Huns which is a very low benchmark to set for your own club.

    Agreed here.

Right sort of package, I wouldn't imagine he would be a hard one to convince to come to Glasgow for a couple of seasons, knowing he would likely be sold on for a profit and with more experience to a decent side.

If the manager is a pull for Pana, so be it, but he is the sort of level we should sniff around at times.

He's the manager who would stay for a decade or longer if he was backed.

He's very smart and not an idiot. He's not asking the club to spend money we clearly don't have. He wants to be backed to the best the club can be and show some ambition.

He will stay out his 3 years I think, but he will then leave, knowing he done right, but the club is continuing to be held back as it was in his first stint.

Back him, properly, he will stay here for as long as he can. Firmly believe that.

It's a crucial 10 days for us, there are no more excuses left, failure to strengthen could be very costly for us.

Also not buying the "none of the big clubs are making big transfers yet" as an excuse.

We aren't in their * market.

At best, we may snag a big boy clubs third choice rejects, which again, aren't on the radar of interest for them.

The players we are chasing aren't your Connor Gallagher's where multiple clubs are waiting on things falling in to place for a domino affect.

Just get the job done already.

We want to * a left back from a Copenhagen, brugge, Anderlecht, Salzburg, Zurich, legia, sort of level - ala Josip. No * Chelsea starting left back, or Barcelona's rising stars for * sake.

Our business is completely not dependent on the big boys at all.

Downsizing after the last two years of already downsizing as well.

Our squad is actively weaker than it was at the end of Angie's first season.

It's mental the club has gotten to this state.

Thing is if we continue this way the gap between us and them will be minimal.

It's not exactly cosmic atm anyway I'd say. I think it's exaggerated by many fans. As soon as we lose the likes of MOR and Hatate you will soon see the differences in our play.

    But agree. Zero ambition.

If we improved the first team the way we could and should the league would be a procession and we’d maybe be able to land a glove in the CL. Crazy that we could leave ourselves a few injuries away from a struggle.

Lawells apology from February clearly meant nothing!

1 position addressed this summer. Simply not good enough.

And its becoming apparent with each passing week and comment from Rodgers that the boards plans don't match the managers.

Heads need to roll for this...but it won't happen. The house always wins.

A lot of big clubs are starting to worry about FFP. That’s why it’s been a lot quieter than usual. We certainly don’t need to worry about that. So that’s another excuse that wouldn’t wash.

So as it stands were looking at another season of injuries when they happen with no replacements again.

We will certainly replace O'Riley should he leave, but unfortunately it'll probably not be with a player who's as good or anywhere near the same standard. And the player we bring in will likely cost between £2m £4m.
