The 3rd of January is a bit early for panic mode to set in.

If we’ve still done no business in another ten days or so then fair enough.

 

I think that's how a lot of people feel. I'm not stressing but I'm not overly confident either. Our next league match is 27th and I think we should have players in 2 weeks prior to that; not necessarily all of them but some of them.

I realise this and know I'm impatient but really what's stopped us getting things ready?

I said about getting groundwork getting done in another thread and someone pointed out you can still have them signed you just can't register them to play. So I ask you why couldn't we have something done by now?

Summer was a train wreck and we have clear needs and now Asian cup is here. Why would we not want early business done and get players in and at least half settled before the games start back again.

 

Agreed. We managed to get players in early January previously, so we should be able to do it now.

 

Of course they are. Any decent signings we make this window are 5 months too late.
