Think it's time we all accept Mikey Johnston is our back up striker.

Mikey won't be here start of September. English clubs amd sky have a hard on for deadline day they all hold off till then. The spell he had in that championship he'll go to someone in that league. If he hadn't had such a decent spell he prob would have already been away but similar to Idah a decent loan spell without the option to buy pre agreed puts the selling club in control.

As I mentioned in the Idah thread, Stoobhoy is about as reliable as they come. He broke the news about the Idah offer before McGowan. Might only be specific to Idah as I'm not sure he has ever been a 'ITK' poster over there but he's been right with absolutely everything when it comes to our pursuit so far.

Would love to see big Idah signing however, apart from strengthening our GK position, we are still no further forward than where we were at the end of last season We all know where we need to strengthen and if our board don't see it and not give the manager the money to do that then this will be an even worse transfer window than last season - especially if big MOR leaves too

Once today's game is wrapped up, needs to be a very clear push on on our recruitment drive. 3 weeks left and we're woefully short. Hopefully Idah done by Tuesday close to wrapping up Schlupp by next weekend if the interest is true.

Incredible but hardly surprising that we are prepared to gamble this much. If Idah comes on yesterday and gets injured we would be up * creek. Give them the fee and get him signed.

How? We’re not under pressure to sell him.

Good to get 3 points again.

However the fact that Johnston, Yang, Scales and the likes are still having to be relied upon is wild.

We needed 5 or 6 players start of this window imo. Now I'd take half of that.

Our board still think the Earth's flat. That's how far they've gone backwards. This squad DESPERATELY needs upgrades and refreshing. What the * is going on???!!!

2-3 quality additions would give such a lift considering our bench atm.

    * ourselves when Kyogo gets any injury, Scales at CB, Taylor being our only LB (he can't do it himself all season) and likes of Yang and MJ getting game time shows we are miles off where we need to be.

As it stands we are absolute whipping boys in Europe and prey to Jebus we don't lose MOR.

The way the game unfolded, bit scrappy tackles going in, having to make subs, shows how poor the squad depth is.

Idah plus, 3 is the minimum required. And that's halfing what I thought we needed 2 months ago.

We're being failed by the paymasters.
