We need so much I don’t know where to start to be honest.

Keeper, left back, right winger, and a holding midfielder, I’ve always wanted.

Now I think we could be doing with a right back due to Johnston’s drop off, a striker due to the Asia Cup, and a centre back due to our injuries.

Squad needs massive surgery. The way that game changed after the subs came on today just epitomises how poor a position we’ve let this squad get in to.

Maybe I'm being a bit mental but the past few games have calmed me a bit over the transfer window.

Kyogo scored 2 in our last 3, including the Huns.
Bernardo seems to be settling into the team and definitely worth perseverance.
Both Nawrocki and Welsh have been able to come into the defence and do well. Sadly one is injured again.

Obviously we need better players in, a new LB as we only really have 1. A RW to fight it out with Abada. A 3rd striker, perhaps a loan to buy. I'd like a keeper but I don't see it happening, same with a DM.

Let's get the right business done now. Lose some deadwood and bring in 2 or 3 actual ready to go now quality players. If we do that then let's kick on and leave those * trailing behind where they belong.

As important as any incomings imo. We all know where we can improve in the first team but we have to offload some wages and non-contributors from the squad first.

Just hope that win doesn't give them an excuse not to spend.

Can already envision Lawwell tightening the biscuit tin: "We've beat the huns twice already with the squad you've got Brendan. With no Europe and with Hatate and Abada back, there's no reason to go overboard. Look at Everton.."

Said this to my pal the day, they better not * say we have enough after that win.

I wouldn’t put it past them either the * vermin.

Need 4 first team ready players to come into the side and we will win the league easy.

The same positions still require upgrading or additional support. We still badly need another left back, winger and striker. Goalkeeper can probably wait until summer. Centre back is still an issue as well. If as rumoured we sign Thiago Araujo and Bojan Miovski we will then probably see a loan deal for a winger and likely an attempt to sign Scott McKenna for a nominal fee.

Looking for rapid business to be done. Can't officially buy anyone until tomorrow but we've had months to do groundwork.

Slept in the summer let's not let it happen again next month.

you can buy players whenever you want you just can't transfer their registration. So a player can train with you, you just can't play them.

I don't thnik there's any danger of that, not as if we're 10 points ahead or anything like that, which we really should be tbh.

Pretty clear we need to see quality players coming in, hopefully this will be the case.

Our midfield utterly dominated theirs to a level I've rarely seen in a derby game and yet we could easily have lost that game. If that doesn't set alarm bells ringing, I don't know what will. On the whole, we have a good team down the centre; but both flanks have real issues.

I think we're good down the middle:

GK: Hart... pffff, he'll do till the summer I guess.
CBs: CCV, Scales, Welsh, Nawrocki... I'm actually pretty fine with that.
CMs: CM, MOR, Hatate, Bernardo... as long as we don't sell MOR this window, I'm very happy
CFs: Kyogo, Oh... Kyogo is a level above anyone else in Scotland and Oh has potential.

The problem for me is down the flanks:

FBs: AJ and Taylor. Is AJ carrying an injury? If not, he's not good enough. He was shocking yesterday.
I'd keep Taylor around as he is really very good at that inverted role (including yesterday and even some CL games) and that gives us something different. He's also an utter liability defending against decent wingers (including yesterday). That's not a Rodgers thing; it happened under Ange too (e.g. against Bodo Glimt). We need a better first-choice LB.

Wingers: Abada is finally back and Palma is pretty good (but nowhere near as potent as Jota, let's be real); but I think we need someone with pace who can also dribble and open defences that way. I had hoped that might be MJ or Yang; but yesterday killed off the idea of MJ and Yang is nowhere near ready yet (get him a loan FFS!).

So I think we urgently need a LB, a RB and a dribbly winger and all 3 first-team quality and ready to go right now.

Finally, if MOR goes, this window, we'd better have something in place!

They need to get it right in this window.

I feel like they will screw us over like in the summer window, with a couple more prospect signings around age 21.

The summer window was a huge mistake and I think with this being a more difficult window and money being spent in the summer, they won’t sign what we need.

palmas numbers are pretty good 5 goals and 9 assists in 16 league games is a good return for any wide man or attacking player not sure why he gets as much stick when he clearly contributes to our attack majorly.

AJ on the whole has been decent solid defensively in tackling can be caught out of position at times but on the whole pretty good.

LB and ST with another midfielder if turnbulls goes and we’re pretty set for the second half of the season. With GK a priority

I think against Dundee or something we missed like 4 sitters all set up by Palma and he was still getting stick.

    Felt that way anyway.

Add a centre forward to that due to the Asia cup, we don’t have anyone while Kyogo and Oh are away and if they pick up any injuries while away we could be *.

yeah think the difference in aj is a lot of the time he would receive the ball more central and it was shorter passes with more on , because rodgers wants his full backs to be wider more then it is really limiting the people he can pass to and he’s having to go back quite a lot with the passes. Like Taylor he’s not the fastest so taking a man on and beating him is never really gonna happen lol
