Lagerbielke is nowhere near good enough or suited to us due to his lack of pace but Nawrocki's just as bad....and much more of a crock. Just as glassy as Welsh..

Kobayashi needs no explaining..

Be hard to punt all 4. Welsh my stay as homegrown and hopefully get 2 at least of the 3 our and get a couple in. O'Shea and maybe a quick, powerful youngster who can be bled in..

Johnston picking up form again it looks and Ralston ( who ideally could be improved upon) as backup..

It's a lot of work tbh which is something we should have been chipping away at last summer instead of going project player shopping because even if we got all these positions filled before transfer window closes there is no guarantee all those players would be a success which would put us back to square 1 in some positions.

Another midfielder is likely to come in if Celtic receive an acceptable bid for Matt O’Riley. Both Atalanta and Southampton have failed with recent approaches.

 

I forgot about a left back lol. It's critical we sort that position. The playmaker i see as an O'Riley replacement.

 

I'm not sure I see a winger coming in, I think we go to January with the 4 we have. I think we could do with an improvement in the area but I just see CB, LB, ST and AM taking the priority here. CB and AM are probably down the list as they will be reliant on Lagerbielke and O'Riley leaving. I hope Nawrocki leaves too, he's * *. If he's not injured he's giving away stupid fouls near the box, I'd rather he went than Lagerbielke.

 

Think I agree with this. Most of last season was brutal with wingers out of form, but Kühn the other night, Palma already done well in CL and Jamesy looking sharp as * gives us enough to see how we go. Obviously mad Daizen on form aswell is massive.

Would revisit in January if Kühn and Palma don't step up.

 

I actually think we will get one now, been a few links and despite the fact we have 5 wingers, I think we need another.

Loan Yang out for a season and go with New Winger, Forrest, Kuhn, Palma and Maeda.

 

Winger will be dependent on Yang and MJ going.

Mikey is getting playing time in pre-season. We know for a fact BR likes his game. Wouldn't be surprised if he gives him yet another chance.

 

I completely forgot about him tbh, but yeah I agree with @Westlondonscot. I think we need to punt Mikey and Yang before any movement is done.

Mikey permanently and Yang on loan at the very least..

 

it has been a very slow summer all round. I expected MJ to have gone by now. Also thought Lagerbielke would have had renewed interest from Lecce. The way it looks we may end up have to settle for another loan out. We still then still have Yang, Kwon, Kobayashi to get rid of too.

Still a few positions that definitely needs upgrades left back, central defence and a striker. It will be so underwhelming if we have Scales playing in the Champions League games post August

 

I'm glad we are targeting a higher calibre player but they need to be achievable too.

 

Bernardo , CB , LB , ST all essential .

Another winger if someone really special in our bracket becomes available although would be comfortable with what we have got .

replace MOR if he goes .

Going to be an interesting few weeks at least .

 

Not signing another winger would be a mistake.

Kuhn has had a good pre-season but we need to see if he can take that into meaningful games.
