Don't want to see us going into the season with Scales as first choice CB or Taylor as first choice LB, why is it we haven't signed a GK by now ?

Get the huns point. Aye sign early, over paying etc...or the flipside is doing what we did last summer. And winter. That resulted head of recruitment and scouting being sacked. That wasn't good either.

Folk wouldn't mind if we were slower if we actually had a good set up and correct personal in to match that.

So far we have zero idea what the set up is. Seems like it BR in charge and he's just back from holidays. So.has our recruitment been on pause for the past 4 weeks?? Wouldn't think so.

Good players are worth waiting for correct. To a point. But we're so slow it's painful.

It all points to the nepotism of the same people doing the same things for the past 20 years, thinking its the best we can be. Its not. And that's what ultimately frustrates people.

I mean evidently you prefer us not strengthening or making any tangible changes with our recruitment system.

So you can continue to act like a * clown window on window.. tiresome.

DD rolling out the same lines as last summer and January. You’d think he would have learned by now.

The notion that we wait to only sign quality is a total myth. In Ange's first couple of windows the hit rate absolutely increased but the reason for that was down to Ange himself. Last summer our biggest transfer fee paid was kept out the side by Liam Scales. Palma I like but at best he split opinion amongst the support. Then you move on to people like Holm, Lagerbielke, Yang, Tillio, Kwon some of those we are already trying to move on.

January saw us actually sign one player in Kuhn who looks average at best and that was also off the back of hearing for weeks on end about this "quality" we were waiting for. Bernardo signed on loan and was a bit part player as did Idah but credit where it's due he was brilliant and surprised a lot of us but still there was no need for that to be left to deadline day

There’s always a reason why we can’t sign players from a section of our support. This summer it’s cause the Euros. Next year when we have CL qualifiers back it will be because players are waiting to see if we qualify or no. January it was because it’s a * time to buy.

Same old soundbites we hear every year and some still believe in it all. Incredible. Some will just never learn or have a critical bone in their body when it comes to this board and our recruitment.

There’s absolutely no excuse to not have a goalkeeper in by now. None. A more professionally run club would have had one signed and ready to announce as soon as the window opened. But we’ll likely be going into the season with Bain in nets or a new keeper who is literally just in the door.

IF we follow up those “patience” by bringing in the likes of Livakovic, O’Shea, Kvistgaarden, Idah etc. then fair enough. That would be us bringing in real quality. But we’ve been here before.

Trepidation amongst supporters is understandable, we should be looking forward to the CL instead of dreading it.

What are you basing this on, other than wanting one signed? How often are decent players signed before the summer window opens waiting to move? Would you have been happy if O'Riley had agreed a move away from us months ago and was just waiting for the window to open? Naw you'd be screaming at us for being incompent and letting his head be turned, and we're so unprofessional, but that's the other club being professional.

I don't get how members of our support can't see past the soundbites. It's every year :56:

Doesn't matter if its Rodgers or ange. Will we sign players? Aye. But there is absolutely no excuse for the way we seem to operate.

We've known about needing a new GK for 6 months. Needed another LB for about 18 months.

There's no excuse for not having these players in pretty soon. If not within the week.

We heard the "quality" line so many times last summer and in January. That went really well. Zero faith in us tbh and that's not some knee * negative reaction. It's drilled into me after years of the same pish.

Sorry but Rodgers has been on a hunt for “quality” every window and never gets it.

So not expecting much this summer either

But you don't want * signings for the sake of signings either, some folk seem to think all our business should be done by now, it's equally mental.
