Particularly, but not exclusively, in the GK position, otherwise it's not going to be pretty.

 

He has no excuses or leeway like he did last season. Its all on him now.

I'm not going to go off on one as I've said my piece on how i think the summer plays out but if we start the league campaign with Scotr Bain in goals that is disgraceful and can't be defended but that being said I think its practically impossible for us not to have a keeper in prior

 

If it was an option, we'd have done it already. Maybe we'll get lucky now and again, but generally, quality players will tale longer to sign. Really basic stuff mate.

 

"Waiting for quality" very rarely comes to fruition for us.

We waited last summer and last January and it never happened.. given we're constantly reduced to a last minute scramble.

We've known Hart has been retiring for 6 months.. I know you're a delusional *, by what estimation have we not have enough time to identify and secure a target.

We could go out and sign the first players we can, like the huns have been doing the last few seasons, overpaying for players nobody else wants, and some on here wet themselves about that because signing players early means they're good signings, right? The reality is good players have options and are in no rush to jump at the first offer, and as was pointed out in detail a page or two ago most of Ange's best signings came from mid july to the end of the window, but some on here still insist all his signings were early and quick, it's absolutely baffling. We signed Bernabei in June, superstar he was.

Miserable * 24/7 insisting everything we do is so uniquely incompetent, when the whole market is generally still quiet at this time, every season, and ramps up massively the deeper we get into the window. But we're just deliberately choosing not to do anything, because the board think it's some laugh I guess? Or they secretly want the huns to win the league?

 

In other words, you know yourself that you're talking absolute * (as usual) and there's zero excuse for us not having a keeper in.

 

Professionalism, if we had it, this would all be really basic stuff mate.

Like last year, because we don’t have any CL qualifiers, I’m not anywhere near panicking at this stage. The fear is though that we had all the resources at our disposal last summer to kick on, and we went backwards. So I’m not ruling that out for this year. I’m actually expecting a * window, hoping to be surprised.

This is a longterm issue, not just a unjustified reaction to a slow window.

 

Not exactly going to panic or look into those soundbites too much, because that's all they are, soundbites.

Essentially a week into July so we do need to start seeing some movement soon. I can (somewhat) understand the lack of updates on other positions but we really do need a GK sorted ASAP
