They probably told Hart he wasn't getting a new contract which is probably why he chose to retire. Which makes it even more laughable if we didn't have a replacement lined up

 

We are so * when it comes to transfers. Always reactive with no real strategy of what we are doing.

I know we need to move players on but it wouldn’t surprise me if there is a big emphasis on let’s see who goes before we bring players in.

That is poor when you consider at an absolute minimum we could be signing a goalkeeper and left back that we know we need regardless if no one moves on. You can also add a striker soon as it sounds like Oh is all but gone.

Since the window shut in January we have also moved on our first choice right winger in Abada. Kuhn was signed but that was before Abada left.

All that being said it wouldn’t surprise me if a couple of deals were close to being done with the financial year end next week. The past two seasons we have signed and sold players in this period.

I just hope we don’t wait and wait like we did last year with guys like Podence to miss out and be scrambling.

 

When we talk about our recruitment team and their work ethic, I picture one of those * sat at a Macbook in Starbucks. Do a bit of online shopping, send out a collecton for Jeanette's new baby, and then maybe look up a player or two on Football Manager. Although even that seems a bit energetic.

 

Another day of checking this thread, and nothing. Normal June then.

Bit of movement would be nice. Players are back soon for pre-season.

Should have at least one signing in the bag by now or at least closing in on it.

 

Surely even the clowns that run our transfer business must have a keeper lined up?

 

Celtic only 1 of 2 clubs not to have signed anyone in the SPFL. The other is Hibs. Not unreasonable to expect 1 in by July. Still leaves 2 full months to do business. Although last couple of weeks are a bit of a panic at times.

 

But we are 'monitoring' about 100 players....
at least until someone else buys the best ones then we'll moan about how hard it is to get the right quality players and panic buy (again) at end of the window

 

We are going to America we have £80m in the bank with offers in for a few players. Should be getting 80% of our business done before we go on that tour but knowing us it will take until last week window.

 

Not particularly worried about lack of signings as hopefully the players we want will have a choice of clubs after his signature so this will take a bit of time and let's see where we are about the first week of July.

 

If a player has a host of clubs chasing him, surely the sensible thing to do is make him an offer now, before other clubs do and they sign him?

That's a week on Monday we play Ayr 2 weeks the mawra

 

Lack of rumours is * as well. At least give us some random player to watch on youtube or that.

 

So to sum it up:

277 pages and no signings

Standard sums done to show how much cash we have

A section of fans want the big * back that left us for a girl

It’s criminal

Business as usual

We are tight
