It isn't his fault, but I'm sure he has self awareness to know he isn't going to be greeted with amazing applause.

His stats are worse than Vakoun Bayo. This could work out, but if it does we won't have him next season as Norwich will want a heft price for him or possibly want to keep him. So we will still need another striker. Had he come during the summer for a season with an option to buy I'd have been more accepting, because in May we had an out and out goal scorer.

I think there may be something in that. These settlements wouldn't be covered by our insurers like the COVID season was when they paid out 10m under a Business Interruption policy.

So Norwich are bringing in van hooijdonk and punting off their reject Idah to us...this is seriously mucked up!! Not sure either player is suited, unless we are aiming on downgrading the squad..

Too stubborn to invest for the future, so take a short term loan and hope they can get someone cheap in the summer.

The Hatate and CCV injuries seem like karma at this point. Everything conspiring to * us over.

It's looking like a bleak second half of the season.. if they're both out long term again it impacts our ability to win this league massively.

I fear for next season when MOR probably goes. I don't trust the club to bring in a suitable replacement. The way things are going, others will want to leave as well.

I honestly thought this window would be a cracker with Brendan wanting to push on for the league. So where are we absolutely nowhere no quality coming in, top players injured and the Filth building and improving with momentum. It stinks I can see the manager go after the season end why would he want to stay with no plan for improvement.

Perfect. That will give us 30mins to scramble about getting loans for players nobody else wants. Great planning.

Why pay a manager 70k a week and not back him? Why go out your way, Desmond, to get him back and sell the situation to him and then end up in this scenario 6 months later?

    Something really stinks.

I would just really appreciate some transparency for once. Because right now this isn't helping the mood within the fanbase and at the very least some answers would appease people.

20 players signed since the start of 2022/23 season and about 4 have been a success. Shocking. That transcends Rodgers unless folk want to blame him for the transfer windows last season as well.

The board have clearly moved the goalposts since he signed on the dotted line, doesn't take much reading between the lines to see that.

I've never felt as disillusioned and frustrated as I do right now. Even under Lennon latterly and Ronny we all knew the main issues were quite clear and could be altered. Even in saying that the recruitment under both of them was shocking as well.

I don't see how this is an issue suddenly appearing out of nowhere - there's a precedent already been set about 10 year ago. Even back to Strachan ffs.

Club has stagnated for far too long and tbh I dont see it changing which is making it quite hard for me to care much longer. The disconnect that was there before Ange is well and truly back, this whole season has had a bizarre feel to it. Injuries to key players again just compounding the misery.

I say we will win the league this season because I do believe we've got just about enough to limp over the line.

We should 100% be in a far stronger position that means that us losing the league should really be unfathomable especially given the financial disparity between us and the rest of the league.

But this board seems * bent on following an unbroken trend of winning leagues for period of time and then deliberately scale back everything to do with playing staff until we surrender the league.

We 100% win the league by * will we limp over the line with barely 2 points in it.

Next season though, if Rodgers is still here, the board will see to it that we lose the league. Fans protest and all that jazz... get a decent name in, let go wild with transfers, then 2nd season onwards we will spiral downwards again and just repeat the bullshit pattern.
