Yeah I don't see any issue with what he's saying. I wouldn't be pinning the issues on him and I think he is doing a fair amount to tell the board publicly what he's expecting, in a professional manner.

Talking about? We recruited the * Rodri of the Korean 2nd division.

Silly me. How could I forget. Seriously though, it was a shocking window given our resources and position we were in. I genuinely cannot believe that some are actually trying to defend it.

Absolutely loved what I've been hearing from Rodgers over the last couple of weeks. Pulling no punches. He's telling everyone exactly what he wants, needs and expects from the people above him over the next couple of windows. Can see that fire and the desire to build something here is starting to show. Especially on Sunday.

Our purchasing power is less because money in other leagues has inflated massively compared to here over the last 20 years, I don't know how you can think we're benefitting from it, the gap between scottish football and the bigger leagues has never been wider and it's only going to get worse.

    4 in and 4 out.

Probably one player sold that can commend a fee that helps balance the amount being spent in the window.

Reckon we are looking at a net spend of about £5mill.

I'm sure a player is getting sold for £15+mill.

Would be great if we can put serious effort into addressing LB and GK immediately, but realistically I bet we will sign a CM, two wingers and some * GK from SPFL team.

I don't have any confidence really

Aye, I did wonder as I didn’t realise he had been left out tbh. F knows what’s going on there.

An energetic, overlapping left back. Needed since a few months ago.

A box to box midfielder with European experience (I don’t care if the guy has played Champions League, Europa League, or Conference League, for Barcelona, or for Ludogorets, Backa Topola, Qarabag, if it’s proven he can play at that level, sign the * quickly)

A right winger who has a decent understanding of the game and can be mildly positive.

I’ll be delighted if we come out of the window with that. The keeper can wait til the summer.

Refreshing to hear Rodgers talk this way.

But tbh my favourite bit was him admitting to considering moving Callum up to CM. I hope he does it.

Shocking that Rodgers isn't listening to the deluded * that have consistently claimed a quality holding midfielder isn't necessary.

    Disagree with the second point.

This upcoming window is absolutely CRUCIAL.

We simply CANNOT wait , again, for the next window. The bottom line is, no matter how people want to dress up the "gap" and point lead, Sevco, in connivance with the masons, are gonna be right up our arses come March.
LB is a position that needs addressed NOW. It's not only European sides, but Spl sides now too that are doubling up and targeting Taylor. He's costing us points.
We can't reply on the return of Hatate either, a couple of injuries in the mid, and we're *.

We could maybe get away with leaving a keeper until summer, which I think we will, maybe even a striker, as Kyogo, Oh, and maybe even Palma and Maeda can cover.

But the LB and DMC positions need urgent surgery now.

Linked with Miovski yesterday, would quite happily take him as third choice. I expect it to be a loan signing for a EPL player though.

He is yet to give Iwata a proper chance, though.

He never said Iwata wasn't in the squad, the part in brackets is incorrect. He was injured.

We need bigger defenders and a new keeper plus a couple of strong midfielders.
Get rid off a few and use at least half of their available funds to fund a strong team that can compete in Europe.
Maybe if DD used 5% of his worth which would be £100mn it would help.

Fans should support Rodgers' demands for a better team by vocally protesting against the board today.

I think Keeper is a bigger priority than RW imo. Would love both but need to get harts replacement ready for the summer.

I would agree with that. Hart has cost us goals in both Europe and domestically. Once Maeda and Abada are back fit, wingers become less of an issue. It’s hard to say what is most important, but goalkeeper, left back and holding midfielder are all vital. Unless Iwata is the answer and is going to be given an opportunity as the holding midfielder.
