Celtic to write to SPL SFL SFAX

I really don't need an official stripping of those titles. We all know they were won unfairly (well, most) and I'm going to enjoy rubbing that in for some time. Well forever really.

 

What would happen to their tainted titles then? The obvious thing to do would be to give them to us (as we finished in second place every season they won it), but with this being Scotland, you just never know.

I'm guessing that the only reason our board would be writing to them regarding the situation would be with the hopes of them being stripped of the titles and then being awarded to ourselves.

 

12 million for flo! ffs looking back on it now .. were did those * get that money from ? paying the duds wages aswell which were probably english premiership equivalent or there abouts.

in regards to the stripping of medals or titles . thats up to the powers that be at celtic. Id rather they wait and see how things unfold at ibrox first.

I personally don’t care if they awarded to us or not, but they should certainly not be in the hands of the Filth.

That season has no bearing on Hearts.

 

Yes They got the last 2 titles they won took off them, demoted, fined, made to play the first two or three games of the Serie B season behind closed doors and a points deduction

 

Take away the nine titles that they won in a row straight away, as they were achieved due to gross overspending, as we all know, even if they are still in denial over it all.

That takes them right down from 54 to 45, only three above ourselves. Another title was achieved during our Mowbray era, when they had Smith in charge and what the * does that count for really? Make that 44. Helicopter Sunday 2005 was an accident (McDonald supports us and he thought he was scoring two own goals). That's 43 now.

Their overspending also continued right into the 2000's (especially with the Tore Andre Flo signing), so deduct a couple of titles from them for that, as they continued to spend money they never really had available to them, or in other words, they cheated again. I'd take another three off of them for that, bringing them down below us to 40.

Get it right up them. We welcome the chase.

You’d be hard pressed to find a legitimate title won at all during the Murray/Whyte eras.

Their official count is actually closer to 30 something, let nobody be in any doubt about that.

The club have to push it, though. As soon as the result of the FTT is through I'm sure we will.

At the very least, think of the players and staff who have their jobs at Celtic as a result of Rangers' criminal activities.

In sport, you are stripped of the honours 'won' through cheating. Rangers should be no different. I'm not saying those titles should then be awarded to us but Rangers should absolutely not be able to lay claim to championships obtained illegally.

I think they should consider themselves lucky that they don't get stripped of titles handed to them by referees over the years as well tbh.

Like you I'm not fussed at all if we get the titles or not but any tainted titles should have the asterisk put against them, and wiped from their history books.

 

I wouldn't try and say that we have a claim but they should certainly get stripped of those titles and we can just go and win as many as we want now and do it HONESTLY

really can't see them loosing any titles or cups, not whilst the SFA have so many Huns in positions. Would be the cherry on the bakewell though

 

I don't think Celtic would have sent anything like this...yet, they bill hasn't come in yet, but when it does and if it's a guilty, then I think we are well within our own rights to question those titles and honours won, and I hope we do, or the whole 'fair play' thing is defunct.
