Most frustrating player in the squad, will never be more than an impact sub and the fact his head is up his * half the time means he should be shifted whether or not people believe he has 'potential' or not.

Sammy is a good player on his day and we should not forget that. He has scored some beezers of goals for us in the past. Both Mowbray and Strachan played him in the wrong position or with the wrong partner imo, so we have not seen the best of him yet.

Sammy played best for us when he was paired with Maloney, and that is a partnership that has not been been given another chance due to long term injuries to both of them, so I would keep Sammy as he is a big time player for us, and I think under Lennon we would see the best of him again, in a more pragmatic and counter attacking set up.

    Keep.

I see that no-one appears to be too bothered if he goes. That says a lot.

All this * aswell about Samaras being played out of position. When Sammy is asked to play as a striker, where does he drift out to? * left wing! So when he gets asked to play there..he still doesn't bother his *. Attitude stinks.First noticed it when we played Hapoel Tel-Aviv last season. First of all he came out wearing a * scarf and gloves(big fud) and then we went 1-0 he just put his head down and we know how that score ended up. Then must i mention his performance against ross county?:nonono:

Great player love the guy works best when used upfront , our fans are too quick to get on his back ,he cost us 1.5 mill and has scored alot of goals decent return give the guy a * break.

If he could learn to not dwell on the ball & play the pass 5 seconds earlier when he comes deep, he would become a far better player for us IMO. If he is getting the punt I'd be looking for more than £1m for him tbh.:celt_2:

Needs to be more direct . Head down and going straight for goal dosent do enought of that for me .
He never was the same player since his knee injury maybe just maybe it will come back because it was special at the time . I dont think times on his side thought. Not to bothered if he stays or goes

Personally I think he is a talented guy with a great attitude. He just really needs to improve his split second decision making in front of goal and decision making. He only cost us about 1 million so I think his goal return has justified his time here

His SPL record is 30 goals in 70-odd, not miles short of 1 in 2 and I am sure he has only actually started about 50-odd so 30 is good.
